I was in this school, and this teacher named Miss P, an elderly teacher was forcing students to make student's hand writing look "perfect" and my friend named J, Miss P was substituting our class, reading a book. J raised her hand to answer a question and forgot it, she said so and Miss got mad at her, and said "you don't forget stuff" or whatever. P.s, we were in 2nd grade. And then Mr. Geer gives it students A LOT of home work, and if you don't finish it he says it's your fault and makes u do it for recess. and he has favoritism on the "smarter" kids. I'm only rating it 2 cuz there's some nice teachers.

Worst shoool ever it’s like the teachers don’t wanna teach. Calling me about disruptive behavior but haven’t called me about how my child is academically struggling. I told them I was gonna pull my child out of the school and the principal is encouraging me to do so instead of trying to come up with a plan for my child I’ve asked for a para I’ve asked for a special education assessment and was basically told no HANDS DOWN WORST SCHOOL and I can’t wait to transfer my child!!!

THE WORSE SCHOOL IN TOWN! The teacher Mr. Geer had not empathy whatsoever. He had the nerve to tell me that my daughter was doing poorly in class and that she wasn't attending to the class at the end of the school year instead of telling me way before or try to contact to me to resolve this. I even thought that my daughter might have some disability or spectrum because of him. I went to her primary Dr. he made some tests and she is fine. She is a different school now and she is doing way better, she will never come back to the poorly school with poorly trained teachers. It is just sad that he still teaching there little children. And the special ED teachers too are poorly trained.

Don’t send your kids to this school unless you want the staff to mistreat them. Most of the teachers are awful and rude. I’ve had a teacher grab my 10th year old daughter by her small arms and left a bruise. Any little things my daughter do wrong they quick to put her inside suspension but the other kids involve always gets a pass. Every little activity they have or any dress down day, they expect for parents to pay. My daughter takes the bus to school, I even had problems with the bus driver talking reckless to the kids , I told the school about it and nothing was done. I regret having my daughter going to this school. WORST SCHOOL IN THE SOUTHEND OF HARTFORD.

I’ve been coming to this school since I was a kid thought it be great for my daughter to attend & it was the best decision I’ve made she has excellent scores & is above in almost everything. The only down fall I could give the school is the front staff both ladies should be fired rude nasty & often speak very slick about parents to children not knowing parents can actually hear them. Making fun of children’s names just cause they can’t pronounce them is highly unprofessional. Then they try to challenge you as a parents just cause ur kid misses days from being sick from school how backwards is that 👎. Mrs Rodriguez tryed to put my daughter in summer school without our consent her explanation was cause my daughter miss days from school which made me & dad laugh cause she above any student in her class & it’s sad her teacher had to prove what we were trynna tell her. Soon as I called her out on Registering my child for summer school with out dad or mines consent she quickly reverse everything that we were talking about & said I was correct. In the end my daughter scored 479 blew the scale the passing grade was 420 & my daughter was already at 409 the beginning of the school year & she really tryed to put her over miss school days nothing about having trouble Academically. Why play games when another student can actually take advantage of that help. They are never happy or cheerful just miserable it’s given kinsella a baddd look got me considering taking my daughter out 🎯

This school is ok, the thing is that the staff don’t care and they blab about that they are gonna make us feel welcome and safe but they really don’t, quite the opposite actually. And when fights happen, they blame everyone and not the people that got involved. This is my 9th year studying here and it got worse every year.

My child came from a neighboorhood school to Kinsella and its like night and day. She has been challenged academically and has really come into her own and out of her shell. Even with budget cuts, theythey still offer different programming for the kids. They have a diverse student body which is great. My child has learned about different cultures. I do wish the teaching staff were a little more diverse. A few of the teachers come off cold but a majority of them are great. Also the teachers could use a dress code. We harp on our children to be in uniform, but some of the teacher do not dress appropriate.
