Moira is an amazing tutor. I studied with her help for 2 and a half years (algebra, precalc, and AP Calc) and my understanding of mathematics became so much better. She always encouraged questions on the underlying intuition and concepts behind the problems we worked through together.

Also, she made me tea at the start of every session, which was very kind and lent the sessions a relaxed atmosphere.

I needed some help with certain concepts in math and simplifying complicated explanations my teacher/curriculum used. I found Moira Smith after struggling with Calculus. I needed help learning what I was missing and how to rethink the math problems. She helped me figure out how to slow down and look at the math problem in a bigger picture. I would highly recommend!!! Very good, understanding, and knows how to help people at all levels of math.
