If you are testing here, be warned that the exam room smells of mold, the air conditioner is crazy loud, and the walls are paper thin, so you will hear the obnoxious and full volume tutorial next door. I am pretty sure I failed both the exams I took because I could not concentrate! Hopefully not, but if I have to retest, I will not be coming back here.

Any Rio Salado Institution rates poorly in my book. Not to say that the employees at this campus are worse than any of the others, but the employees who handle admissions and enrollment, financial aid, and student affairs at the main office are incompetent, rude, and do not function even within the different offices. If you ever have an issue at this school, do not count on it being resolved because they take no responsibility for their actions, and all they want is to charge you more $$$. The incompetence level of employees here creates an environment where mistakes are inevitable, and you will pay for them. Overall I would rate this school as a complete waste, a drain on students; time, money, and energy.

Participating in Riosalado colleges GED program is an amazing choice for anyone struggling to get their GED. Rio also has amazing ELLA classes. I got my GED at the Southern location through their program. I loved my instructors. Taking GED or ELLA courses also qualifies one to join a program called Adult ACE and they help people start college. They cover a set outline of general, useful , Maricopa College Prerequisites and their books. They also accompany this normally online courses with an instructor. Completing the Adult ACE program with a specified GPA will allow one to sign up for an additional program called Distinguished Transitions. Distinguished Transitions pays for additional online courses and their books.

I recommend that anyone who is in need of a GED come to Rio Salado Community College. It isn't exspensive to join and having an instructor to help you really speeds up the process of learning everything needed to pass the GED exams.
