Our daughter was so busy with fall sports and marching band that she was worried about keeping up with AP Calc. We worked with Rise and Shine Tutoring, and Lori matched us with a great tutor to help get through that extremely busy time. Once the fall quieted down we sustained with a twice a month schedule for the remainder of the school year. She ended the school year with a great grade and a ton of confidence for the AP exam.

My daughter has used Rise and Shine for the past year or so and we have been very happy. She started with Olivia for math and science tutoring and worked with Hana for SAT tutoring. One on one SAT tutoring with Hana really helped my daughter and her practice test scores continued to increase. Lori, the owner, is easy to get in touch with, returns communications quickly and has put together an excellent and knowledgeable group of tutors.

We have been so pleased with Rise and Shine Tutoring! Our daughter was really struggling in math and she needed help. We were attracted to Rise and Shine because of the personal nature of the service. Lori came to our home to meet us and our daughter to do an individualized assessment. She then connected us with a tutor who she felt would fit our daughters needs. We have been with the same tutor for over a year and a half and love her! She not only helps her with math but has also helped her with Spanish. Being able to have her come to our home has been very convenient. Being able to transition to online during the coronavirus outbreak was great as well. Having a regular tutor through rise and shine has given us peace of mind knowing Alex is getting the help she needs. We hope to continue throughout her High School education as there is assistance with college preparedness including SAT/ACT testing.
Alex has verbalized feeling much more confident in her math skills, we have seen better grades and better understanding of concepts.

My daughters and I were very pleased with Rise and Shine tutoring. Both of my daughters struggled in math but with tutoring sessions really turned their grades around! I have to give a special shout of to tutor, Barb, who my 10 yr old daughter adores and who was so patient and kind to daughter. She was very understanding and flexible when we were unable to make her tutoring session. My daughter stated that Barb made math way more fun then her teacher. My 15 year old shockingly looked forward to tutoring and also had very patient and kind tutors.
