Allison and her staff have all been wonderful and a big help to our son Xavier, who is dyslexic. Last year, he applied to Notre Dame Preparatory, but was not accepted due to poor test scores. After a year of tutoring with Allison and her staff we are happy to say that his test scores have improved tremendously and as a Freshman, he was able to maintain a 3.0 GPA in the Scottsdale Unified School District. As a sophomore, Xavier was admitted to NDP and is a continuing success story. We thank Rising Stars for putting him on the right track.

We have been sending our 8 year old daughter, who has ADD and learning difficulties, to Rising Stars for the past year and have seen a huge improvement in her abilities to read and to concentrate on her work. One year ago she was barely reading simple sight words, now she is reading at grade level and, more importantly, Julia now enjoys reading. Our son started at Rising Star Tutoring not even being able to read simple sight words. He was frustrated, angry and acting out. A year and a half later his benchmark testing scores came back 89% nationally and he is reading well above his grade level. His confidence is back and he enjoys going to school! The tutors has been so patient with him, he has thrived under their tutoring techniques.
