I could never recommend this place to anyone. They are dangerously short staffed and when a resident is in dire need of help it is not available. We called "concierge" 6 hours straight and left messages. We got in touch with a live person (Taylor) once and left 5 message requesting that somebody physically hand my mother her cell phone since it was her life line and she was incapacitated. 6 hours-and nobody could help her with a one minute request. They only responded when we said we'd call the police department to do a wellness check since we couldn't reach her. My mother became 100% immobile the next day. The directors will lie constantly about the care they can provide. Housekeeping does NOT come every week and my mother was told "we'll come next week, because we don't have time". The facility itself is beautiful, and I loved the friends my mom made there. The service in the dining room is awful and the turnover is extreme. Have a meal in the dining room. The residents are consistently ignored. If you ask a staff member for anything, they act put upon (and you very likely will not get what you requested). It is impossible to get a staff members attention and I've often heard "this isn't my table", and they'll walk right by.
If a resident needs assistance, it's very hit of miss.
I waited for 3 hours for a nurse to check my mother a few months before she died. I ended up leaving work and going to the facility, where I found my mother ice cold in a fetal position. I brought her to the hospital, where she was in severe Afib. She literally would have died because of Anthology's lack of concern/action. The best part of our Anthology experience was this. My Mom died on a Friday night. The Hospice nurse came to declare my mom dead. We told her we were taking the locked med box because we didn't feel comfortable leaving it. The nurse acknowledged this and we left. The head nurse, Raven, texted asking for it on Monday and I said I can drop the plastic tackle box off later in the week. We were planning my mother’s funeral. She called the police on me and implied I stole the tackle box. Attached is the text message. Keep in mind, my mom died on Friday and this was Monday. Apparently, Anthology is in dire need of the $10 plastic tackle box and I'm supposed to stop all funeral plans to avoid being arrested. The director did apologize for how it was handled, but losing my mother was devastating and then to have a Farmington police office tell me they can have me arrested for larceny (for taking my mother's medication!) was pure lunacy. The police backed down as soon as they realized what the issue was. Top notch place.
Before you sign up for this place, try these things:
-Try calling and asking for a particular department (ie. Head of nursing). See if you get a person on the phone. If you leave a message, see how long it will take for them to respond. I have emailed, called, left voice mails and cc'd all departments. NOBODY will get back to you-EVER.
-Have a meal in the dining room with a resident (Don't let them know you're a guest, because they'll wait on you like you're royalty until you commit). Or better yet- just sit in the dining room and see how long it takes to get service.
Good luck if you chose to live her our send a loved one here.
If you opt for glamour, this is the place. If you want your loved one to be safe and well-cared for, run!

I wish I could give this place a 0 because I would. If you care about your family member, DO NOT send them here! My mom lived here for a couple of years and in the beginning, things were great. Then they hired an executive director named Laura and things quickly escalated down hill faster than a train going down a hill on ice. There were numerous safety violations, staffing shortages, terminating of all the good staff people, and overall decreasing of services for all members as a result of Laura's awful management. Worst of all is they raised my mom's rent every 3 months which was the final straw as she simply could not afford to live here anymore and they reduced services for an increased price! I brought all of my concerns to upper management over a series of 3-4 calls and no action was taken and my concerns were swept under the rug. We eventually removed my mom and could not be more happy with her current place. Please stay clear of this place if you love your family member!!!!!

We looked a few other places before moving my Dad from another facility (where he was going downhill fast). We settled on Anthology of Farmington and it has been the BEST move we could have made. Dad is eating again, he is well cared for and is thriving in his new memory care apartment. We cannot say enough about the staff, all of the staff. Dad is well cared for, well fed and is happy. Best decision we made.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, 0 stars may be a stretch. If you are looking for a place for your loved one please PLEASE do not move them into Anthology. The nurses are wonderful and most aids are as well, but management is terrible and only care about $$. No wonder why there has been multiple nursing directors. Oh and can’t forget about the executive director… she’s just a “charm”.

Worst place ever! My dad is not taken care of, has injuries that no one addresses, can’t talk to anyone in charge and corporate doesn’t respond! I have called for months and emailed and no one helps me! I am out of state and have a family friend who checks in but nothing changes and oh and they want to increase his rent to 10k!!! Such a shame!!!
