I did my first flight lesson yesterday!! I was so nervous almost the entire time but the instructor was very patient and made it a great experience! He explained everything with great detail, answered all my questions, and I only did as much as I was comfortable with (which I was very grateful for because the wind kind of panicked me there for a bit and I became a passenger princess for a moment or two lol). Everyone in the office was very nice as well! I am so glad I did this! Such an exhilarating experience!!! Highly recommend!!!

Had my first flight lesson for my private license and the staff and instructors just made it simple, fun, and an amazing experience. I was a bit nervous but they guided me every step of the way. A lot easier and better experience than getting a license at the DMV

What an amazing experience!!! It will take your breath away even if your not flying the plan just sitting in the back as a passenger. Nerves on twenty!!! But the instructor was so patient, nice and really makes you feel comfortable. They have deals on Groupon, great customer service, appointment recommended it's a chance to see if you really want to fly or just enjoy going flying.

A couple of years ago I did a flight lesson here with an instructor named Sam. I was flying their Piper Arrow, N55130 which I am sad to say is no longer there. So we took off and flew to lake Matthews and after a few circles and a bit of turbulence which caused my dad to lose his lunch, that buckethead of an instructor got it into his head to make a quick landing and takeoff at French valley. We aborted because my dad was furious at poor Sam. We specifically had asked for a one-hour flight and the time had already passed. We headed back to Riverside, but the gear wouldn’t come down. We did a few flyovers and some trouble shooting, and Riverside tower even suggested that we land at Ontario because they had better emergency services. Sam Called a buddy of his on the ground who told us how to open the gear doors manually and let the gear drop down. We landed safely but lividly with the fire department awaiting us. We taxied to the flight school shortly after and met my very perplexed family who had waited more than two hours and wondered who the fire department was trying to save. We thought that was all the bad news we would get that day. Not so. Riverside flight academy charged us $400 dollars! The price to fly in the Piper arrow for an hour was $120! The flight school made us pay for the mistake Sam had made AND the time spent fearing for our lives! Afterwards, my dad was going to sue them but they gave us a credit for the flight time they had overcharged us for. I am not mad at them for the gear trouble. I understand that, however rare, these things happen and I am very glad that we landed safely. I am angry at the fact that they overcharged us almost $300 dollars and we never saw a penny of it ever again. We never used the credit, because I never flew again with them. I hope their customer service has changed for the better, but if not you should definitely choose another flight school!

Signed up my fiancé for a discovery flight at this location after hearing about it through a friend and it was a fantastic experience ! Highly highly highly recommend ! I was able to ride shotgun through the experience for a lower rate but man just to see her smile enjoying her dream to fly a plane was so so so worth it ! Jo was her instructor and he ran her through a simulator to get an idea of the controls and boosted her confidence and encouraged her. Then we did a gear inspection and ran through a quick q&a where she learned a bit more about the plane and it’s layout. Once that was good we were clear to take off and Jo let me mount a GoPro inside so I could get some footage of her flying while also filming in the back of the plane. The only thing I wasn’t able to experience was the communications due to there not being a long enough cable to comfortably sit in the back with a headset on, but whatever, I wasn’t flying so it wasn’t a big deal. I was literally just there for the ride and I could tell my fiancé absolutely loved the whole experience. All in all just hands down one of the best experiences we’ve been able to share. Thank you guys!
