I found Chelsea Halon on LinkedIn. After I messaged her that I am looking for new opportunity given I was unemployed, she reached out to me very next day and set up a quick interview within no time. That was the first thing I was impressed with her professionalism and the way she prioritized and gave importance to my need. In a couple of days after my initial interview with her, she came up with the opportunity and submitted my profile to the employer. It took 2 weeks from the time she interviewed me and the time I was given an offer. Everything went smoothly and without wasting any time, she had setup 3 interviews with employers. It is needless to say that she is one of the best recruiters I have ever worked with. The way she dealt with the employer and the way she engaged both parties was really commendable. I am really thankful to Almighty that He connected me with Chelsea, and I am also thankful for her as well for the right things she did for me.

One of the worst agencies and lies I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve applied to numerous job postings, internal and external and when I did receive a call to schedule an interview, ghosted. Followed up and no one answered.

After 90 days with the company PSG I was let go a week after my birthday for “lack of work for me”. I contacted Elizabeth the same day 11/3 and have yet to get a response to my requested updated resume. Not sure if they favor the companies they place you with more than the people who will fill the rolls. It’s a complete 180 of the treatment and compassion they displayed in the summer. Would not use again.

Prior to being contacted for the position, a different Robert Half recruiter had been in the process of matching me with an accounting position closer to my home. (Emphasis on “accounting position closer to home”) I went two weeks without hearing from him. Until one day my mother randomly informs me that someone from Robert half was trying to contact me for a different position. It turns out that a different branch picked up my old profile from when I was living at home. In the initial phone screening, I was asked why I was leaving my current job and what I was looking for in my next opportunity. I explicitly expressed that I preferred to be closer to home (which is in greater the New Haven area) and to be placed in an assignment that would further my accounting experience.

Throughout the entire process from the offer to the start date, the hiring team lacked communication. Days would pass before I would get a little dose of information; leaving me sick wondering what was next, or if I even had secured a new position. When I finally did receive a call I was being swindled into taking a position that was supposedly hybrid. When I reported to the site I tried figuring out the ways I could transition the tasks to be able to WFH, but there was literally no logical way. The direct supervisor openly expressed how he disliked telecommute jobs and that when I realized I was being bamboozled! So not only was I assigned to somewhere far, it wasn’t even hybrid, or that heavily accounting based. The site even tilted the position as ‘Administrative Assistant’ of sorts for confidential purposes.

Robert Half certainly values the client relationships more than the employees that serve them. I would not recommend anyone from a temp to a recruiter to work for them.

UPDATE 8/22/2022:

This business is a poor excuse for an international company. HR and customer service alike ignored my complaint. The response below is FALSE, as I never heard back after my initial call. I’m very curious as to whom they spoke to regarding the conversation with customer loyalty. Another example of the swindling and manipulation conducted by this large corporation.

They have an amazing staff who are dedicated and persistent on helping job seekers find employment. I had a very disappointing experience with this staffing agency. They are unprofessional and disorganized. My phone calls were never returned, and my emails went unanswered. I was passed from one staff member to another without any clear communication or updates, leaving me waiting for days. This made the entire process very frustrating and stressful. I would not recommend this agency to anyone looking for reliable and professional staffing services.

As an Accounting Manager at two hospitals over the last 20 years, I have utilized Robert Half for Accounts Payable and Payroll assistance. They were always very professional and easy to work with. When the rare times there was issues with a specific temp candidate, they worked with me to resolve them quickly with a new replacement. I have hired most of temp candidates to the full time roles they were assisting in. Those hires became long time employees.
