I would 100% recommend going here! It’s a MUST for anyone interested in dinosaurs or people who love science and discovery. We spent a least a couple hours walking around, reading everything, and taking pictures. Everyone was so amazing. I have to give a quick shout out to Danny though. He was awesome. He let us explore the center by ourselves and take it at our own pace, but he was always there to answer any questions we had or to tell us fun facts. He was also just so fun and you can tell he really loves his job.

A great place to visit! It had a very large collection of fossils and great plaques that explained information most museums do not focus on. It was very cool being able to see everything they had to offer. The entire museum is a bit small, but they do not charge very much so it is very much so worth it. I imagine if you read every plaque and spent some time looking at the dinosaurs you could spend 3-4 hours here.

We had such a great time at the center. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. My son asked them questions and they were so nice to answer them in a way that he could understand (5 years old). The staff also made sure we saw every part of the center. Overall great experience and will be back.

The RMDRC provides a wonderful learning adventure opportunity in the Pikes Peak region. The entry fee is very reasonable for the diversity of specimens displayed. Caroline was the docent on duty, and she was able to address a wide variety of questions that we threw at her.

Very fun and cool experience, who doesn't like dinosaurs Definitely a must for your kids, they'll love the hands on exhibits and the sand tables you can dust bones in.

We had so much fun! My husband and I went with his grandparents and our 2 year old. It was enjoyable for the whole family. The tickets were not too expensive and they have a lot of discounts for military/triple A/etc. you can use this on both the tickets and merchandise. They had lots of people walking around answering questions. A nice young lady came up to me and asked if I had any questions. Usually I’m overlooked because I’m chasing a toddler - so it was so nice to not feel invisible and feel pulled in instead of glossing over everything as I’m on the run. She then spent a long time with my husband and his grandma answering all their questions. They’re very family orientated and friendly!

I do wish there was a little more thought into the displays for young children though as most were still way too tall for young children. The “dig sites” are cool but bc they were tall my child couldn’t even see that it was for that or use it honestly. I think this could be simply remedied by taking the legs off the tables and putting them directly on the ground. (Just an unsolicited suggestion from an interior designer with a little one) it was still fun and we all had a really enjoyable time. From grandpa to young you definitely can bring the whole family.

This place is wonderful. STEVEN gave us a tour and really opened up my eyes to how interesting dinosaurs are. He shared some truly fascinating information and was sure to include the whole family. Even the staff at the front desk are awesome. Definitely worth checking out!

This museum and learning center is an amazing place to visit and see dinosaur bones. After paying admission -- with a military discount -- and entering the exhibit, our group was offered a free, guided tour. Museum worker Stephanie gave us a very informative, interesting tour around the exhibits. There are interactive parts and things to touch. It was a wonderful afternoon of seeing, experiencing and learning more about the "terrible lizards" aka dinosaurs. We learned that the most fearsome dinosaur was a little one that could run fast and climb trees, not the huge T-Rex. I completely recommend a stop here when I'm Woodland Park, Colorado, or heading there just to go to this museum.
