Transferring to Sacred Heart Academy was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have met so many kind girls during class time and lunch. Girls are willing to help girls, and be there for one another at SHA. Joining clubs, and extra circular activities also made it such a fun experience throughout my years at Sacred Heart.

As I have attended Sacred Heart Academy for the past three years I have learned about the importance of becoming an excelsior student. When hearing the word excelsior many terms may come to mind such as scholarly and ever higher. This is a true Sacred Heart student. Each student works eagerly to become this representation of an excelsior student. Whether it is striving to succeed in the classroom or striving on a sports team, teachers and coaches will push their students/ athletes to the best of their ability. While doing so students will find bonds and make connections with fellow classmates. As I have been part of sports teams since my freshman year my teammates have not only became my friends, but family as well. As we win games and as we lose, we are brought closer together and are able to share each memory along the way. Sacred Heart Academy is a school like no other as it provides these bonds that will last a life time while fulfilling excitement and experiences inside of the classroom. From dissecting a sheep heart to screaming at pep rallies within the gym, the school has provided a friendly environment engaging each student to get involved.

Though a bit challenging, my daughter loved her time here. She formed so many amazing relationships here with other students, staff, and coaches. The school spirit is truly unmatched, especially for an all-girls high school. Go SHArks!

The past 4 years at Sacred Heart were amazing! The small class size allowed for everyone to know each other really well and make lots of friends. There is such a feeling of community and love at the school. Our teachers and staff really care about us and they want us to learn and have fun too. In my opinion, one of the best parts about coming to SHA from a large public middle school, was the trust that we where given. At SHA, girls are hard workers and respectful students, so we are granted more freedom! Senior year our class came together to plan so many fun activities like prom, spirit week, 6am BBQ cookouts in the parking lot, sledding in the winter, supporting athletic events/organizing fan busses and so much more!! Additionally, the education that I received here was rigorous and I learned great study habits! My favorite classes were honors anatomy and honors biotech. SHA has great sciences!

For the last two years, I have been a student at SHA and I have made life long friends. Everyone is supportive and participates in activities to bring life to the school community. Whether it is sports or theater or clubs after school, I have found friends and people who will be with me for the rest of my high school journey. I truly love my experience so far at SHA!

The teachers are great but I found myself struggling a lot to make friends and to be approached by others. The staff never knows what a student is going through outside of school yet they're very quick to demand your focus and for you to work harder even when you're already trying your hardest.

That basketball coach did his job wonderfully, and the staff here suspended him. Their heads are stuck in a made up fantasy world where everyone wins and gets a participation trophy. Do not send your kids here. The staff are incompetent.

I thank God every day for being able to go to such a wonderful school. I have a great granddaughter who I would love to have this experience too but the tuition is way more than I could afford. I hope all the girls there now appreciate what they have.
