I’m so thankful to this organization. After my ex committed DV against me, I was sent to them for counseling. They’re beyond helpful & sweet. They truly care and will help you with filing proper paperwork, speaking to lawyers on hand & learning about mental & physical abuse. I learned a lot from the women that work here & feel like I have a great support system. Thank you for helping me in one of the scariest situations I’ve had to face & making me feel optimistic about the future.

They set my daughter with an attorney who kept stalling regarding if he was going to help in the meantime my 2 year old grandson has not seen his mother for 6 weeks kept by his abusive father and grandmother who told me she plans on making him call her mommy finally I had to pay 7000 for an attorney They told me to never call again they are state funded by our tax money Nancy told me right out that my daughter hates me then she consoled my daughter and can't talk to me? I.am 68 and it really hurt to hear her say my daughter hates me, she has never said that

My immigrant wife has carried acts of extortion and attempted murder on my father overseas whilst living in this shelter. They have been aiding and abetting her crimes by protecting her and teaching her how to file false police reports by having me accused of things I have never done. Unless she has not been truthful to the folks running the shelter in which case they are still inept for not realizing what is going on. My life has become utter hell and they are protecting the dominant aggressor while I can’t get any help all over the state. I am in the process of reporting this place to Attorney General William Tong. I tried to reach out to CEO so I can explain to her what is going on and make them understand that my wife is actively being abused by her own god damn family and that the abuse is still actively occurring on their facilities since they don’t know what’s what. The center called the police saying I was harassing them when I was simply trying to fill them in so they can actually provide the necessary help to my wife if they really care about her well being. What kind of counselors are working here that they can’t swift thru what’s happening? I have proof (actual proof) bank statements and messages and police reports that back up my story. While I am glad that they provided shelter to my wife to keep her safe but it was counter productive bc it was her own damn family that is abusing and exploiting her. They trafficked my wife from a beautiful and peaceful marriage. This case was clearly over their heads. And that is why I am going to Atty General Tong to report this facility as well as look into all of their tax records for any irregularities. The state needs to stop funding this criminal enterprise. I hope the folks in power take notice and audit this place!

If you so much as crack a grin they won’t take you seriously. No matter what, go in there and sob. Don’t act ā€œOKā€ in any way shape or form. Because I was too polite, ā€œNancyā€ who works there is taking my situation for a joke.

I just want this review to be here for when I get attacked which could be at any moment.

She told me she has to wait for me to get assaulted to help me. Great thinking.

Very helpful resource to domestic violence victims very supportive. They will do what they can for you. I have continued support without them I would have died and my children wouldn’t have a mother. Thank you for all that you do for women, men and children dealing with domestic violence I pray other places follow in your foot steps! Many organizations are taking advantage of funding but you guys do not! That’s why when I’ve been able I donate and in the future will donate again <3 My child is alive because of your support so thank you

The girls that live in the house are very petty and immature and bullies. The staff is very unprofessional and stands up for the people that have been there and literally tells all your business to all of the clients. This place should be shut down, it's the most unprofessional place I've ever been to.
