This is my first time at this location and also my first time doing skills tests with no instructor. The place itself is compact, but the skills test was a workout. I recommend using the stool to make it a little easier. Doing compressions on the mannequin definitely felt like a real-life situation. It would tell you if you have to compress deeper or faster. I liked that it had tips to help you pass each section. I'm also the type that gets conscious when people are watching me doing skills tests. So it helps to be able to kind of go at my own pace.

I had a very hard time with the computer simulation 2 person rescue - the instructor called me back and coached me through the exercise. Her feedback was much better and more encouraging than the computer feedback, which I found pretty distracting. I have taken CPR classes for decades and taught them. This was my first time doing a virtual skills test. I still prefer in person classes but I got what I needed for my job.

Scheduling was easy and convenient, including same day skills assessment. I did have an issue that I had signed up for AHA online course separate from skills check, but there is a number to call and someone was able to assist me & rectify the issue in a few minutes. The fans in the room are a nice touch given how hot it gets while practicing CPR.

I failed my first skills test and would not have retaken except an instructor reached out to me and offered to help me "live" (via a camera) on my second try. I did this; she was excellent; and I passed. Very grateful to her for that! I discovered that the reason I had failed initially had to do mainly with software: sometimes unclear instructions from the computer.

I found the online class to be highly convenient and flexible, allowing me to complete it at my own pace. However, I did encounter some challenges with the skills portion. Despite watching the mandatory videos multiple times (over three times, to be exact), I struggled to master the skills. With persistence and additional practice, I eventually passed the skills assessment

Area generally clean, all items available and in order. Directions for entering room and how to get started, easy to follow. First mannequin, however, was not functioning properly. Able to call number given to get a person on the line right away for assistance. Overall, adequate to good experience.

I really enjoyed the BLS class at Safety Training Seminars, the instructors were knowledgeable and ensured I had a comprehensive understanding of basic life support techniques and emergency procedures, which gave me a sense of confidence in obtaining my BLS certification. The class was well-structured, engaging, and easy to follow, allowing me to get the most out of the experience.

The online course may appear intimidating, but as long as you study the material beforehand and watch the videos, you will pass and learn a lot. Although the entire station is automated, it will take you to task if your technique is off, and give you helpful instructions to remedy this. More hands on than you think - thumbs up!
