My husband and I have been taking private salsa lessons from Carlos for over a year now. Carlos is the most amazing teacher! He is patient, fun and uplifting! Loves to celebrate the small wins, which makes it fun and encouraging to continue! Highly recommend taking private or group lessons from Carlos! He offers an array of offerings to fit your needs! He even brought in a second teacher at no charge to help my partner!

I've been attending the group classes for Salsa and Bachata for a few weeks now with Carlos Rubio and have really been enjoying my time. Even if you don't know anything at all about dancing you feel welcome at the beginner classes on Monday nights and the other students are friendly as well. I did not need to bring a dance partner with me and noticed that there are always several other people who come by themselves as well.

Carlos does a little warm up of the basics with everyone to start before separating us into partners to start practicing a new move. Everyone gets a chance to dance with each other every class and honestly it's been a lot easier than I thought it would be. Carlos is pretty entertaining and always keeps us engaged and laughing which is a nice bonus too.

There's different levels of group classes every week and monthly events as well. I had no idea how many salsa and bachata events were offered in Columbus and it's been fun getting to know some of the other students and seeing them every week as well. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced dancer there's always something to learn or brush up on. I've learned several tips from Carlos I hadn't received from other dance instructors as well which was very helpful.

Carlos is an awesome dancer & one who has been dancing for many years. I can recall competing against him in Salsa competitions 15+ years ago. If you're in Columbus & want to learn to dance by one of the best from a fun talented person learn from Carlos! I recently went to Emerald Ballroom for his Wednesday night dance event & I recommend it.

By far the most accessible, affordable, and friendly Latin social dance instruction in the USA. $25 for 3 classes?! That is an incredible deal! If you think you have 2 left feet, call Carlos. Take some private lessons and you'll be ready for his group classes in no time. His Wednesday night socials have 60 people- this is *unbelievable* for a weekday studio social. Good balance of leads and follows and everyone is super friendly. 10 of 10 recommend and I'll be attending every time I'm back in Cbus.
