I got my P1 and am working on my P2 with Max. It’s been an incredibly empowering experience. I’m going through this with my partner and it has been such a fun thing to learn and do together!

Max is patient and smart, helping me understand how I can grow as a pilot.

The ridge lift and thermals are there for the glider, and Max, Cheyanne and the community around this school is there to lift up my confidence. Highly recommend!

San Diego Paragliding school and Max Acro are the BEST place to learn to paraglide in San Diego. Max is one of the most kind and patient instructors ever and he made learning super fun and comfortable for me. To be honest I signed up because the cost was so much better than the other school in town but what I got was more than money could afford and am so glad I went with Max and SD Paragliding School.

Max is such a friendly, happy and very patient great instructor 🙂 Iv been taking his P1+P2 training and it has been just so much fun! I hestitated to start this sport for a while since I just didn't have enough time to commit, but Max makes himself available and flexible time for us so that even in my busy life, I am able to fit some training hrs every week. Paragliding community is very pleasant that everyone is super friendly and ALL tells me Im in good hand of Max. Im looking forward to continuing the training with him and hope more people will join 🙂

Had Max as an instructor at Torrey pines for a short time while getting my P3 and also did an SIV with his other company MaxAcro. He is a fantastic instructor with very deep knowledge of the sport and a chill demeanor that really puts his students at ease. Cannot recommend Max Marien enough as a paragliding instructor, whether you are an absolute beginner or a more advanced pilot trying to take it to the next level.

Max has been my main instructor through initial flight to P4, T3 and SIV.
