The EHOVE School of Cosmetology is a good school to attend if you are in the area. It has provided me with the education I need to pass my State Board test.

The Curriculum:
You will learn all the procedures you need to know when testing at State Board. You'll learn all practical and written exam testing techniques.
On top of that, you'll learn many more things. I've learned relaxation massage, nail enhancements, advance color techniques, and much more.

The Teachers:
The teachers here are great. Very personable, and kind. They will teach you what you need to know, and more. You will have several teachers throughout the program, making it possible for you to learn different techniques for each procedure.

The Student Kit/Supplies:
You'll receive a kit during the first month of your program that comes with all the stuff you're going to need during your time as a student, and professional. It comes with student quality items. I wish we had gotten higher quality tools, but as a student, you learn with basics. The newer class has gotten better items when starting, so that's a plus.
The dispensary is filled with many different products with which a student can play. Top of the line products are available when you are further into the program.
I am not so happy with the choice of color we are using, but have heard that it will be changing this fall.

I think one of the only problems with the school I have had is the hours. It is very hard to keep a full time job and be a student here. It would be easier to have day time classes. But, without the demand, the class could not have been put into play.

Over all, my experience at EHOVE has been nice. It is one of the best in the area. It has a 100% pass rate for a reason.

Ehove review by a current 2013 cosmetology student.

I chose to attend the Ehove Cosmetology program for the following reasons. First it was situated very close to my hometown of Sandusky, Oh. Just a short 10-15 min trip down the road gets me to school quickly and easily.

I also chose this particular program of study; at this particular school, because after some extensive research I learned that the program here incorporates many more cosmetology lessons and skills that aren't offered at other more well known schools. For example many people don't realize that relaxation massage is a skill that a licensed cosmetologist can offer and perform for their clients. Ehove covers relaxtion massage theory and allows students to practice the skill in lab! Other schools don't even cover the topic at all.

I also was very impressed at the reasonable tuition bill for the course. Ehove's cosmetology course allows for a student to sit for the basic license examination after 1500 hours of study, or you can elect to complete the manager's course which opens up many more opportunities for the student after they graduate, and it can be done after completing an additional 300 hours of study.

The instructors at the facility all have prior years of experience in the cosemtology field. They don't mind giving personal attention to students who may need more assistance in theory (testing), or in practical hand-on experience.

Lastly; one very smart perk of the program is that it is structured so that upon completion, the student's fees for the state examination have already been alloted and taken care of out of the student's financial aid package. This means that students don't have to worry about setting side their disbursement money for the test...it's already been done for them.

I'm only four months into the program currently, so I'm just concentrating on finishing the program for now.
