I have been a student at Shaolin Kempo Academy for more than a year and a half now. I joined with my son and my wife joined a few days later. I can honestly say that I've never had a bad time in class since I started. Its an incredible workout and an amazing learning opportunity! Master Ross' decades of experience shine as he works with both the kids and adults in class. He doesn't just teach you the moves, but also teaches you WHY those moves work and makes it fun even when its challenging.

If you're looking for a place to learn martial arts, I can't recommend Shaolin Kempo Academy enough.

Our child has been working with Master Ross at Shaolin Kempo Academy for a couple of years and we are so pleased with the experience. Master Ross is an excellent teacher who has a fair but firm approach in teaching the techniques needed to master skills. The environment is a safe zone where mistakes are never criticized and accomplishments are always praised. Master Ross is a great mentor for students of all ages, offering training, skills, and fun while building strength, self-confidence and respect.

My sons confidence both emotionally and physically has noticeably increased since joining Master Ross’ Tiny Tigers class almost 2 years ago. My husband (who did karate for years growing up) and I are so impressed with the impressive approach and balance between confidence building, FUN, and discipline that Master Ross uses with the little ones! There’s so many great things to say about Master Ross’ Shaolin Kempo Academy. My husband and I decided to join with our son since Master Ross makes it super convenient and has the kid and adult classes at the same time, since you’re learning the same material. It makes it so that we don’t need to find child care to go to class. So it’s really great for families.
Master Ross has so many years of knowledge and years of teaching behind him which makes him a great teacher. For those that may be self-conscious at all about themselves like me, Master Ross will always make you feel comfortable and welcome while also still challenging you to meet your potential.

After almost a year here I can say it is the first time that I don't have to talk myself into going to classes! Taking the kickboxing classes here has been such a such a good experience, the workouts are always different and challenging. Master Ross is really knowledgeable and offers great instruction during classes.

Update:
After trying out more than 5 gyms over the years I can honestly say SKA is my top pick! I feel so comfortable and welcomed here, I even recommended it for my grandson who is LOVING his Kempo classes.

Master Ross continues to provide a great workout along with a professional and friendly environment. We have a ton of laughs during class and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

Master Ross Antisdel always ensures that each student receives the attention they require. All students, from toddlers to adults, are given every tool necessary to succeed. We’re happy we chose Shaolin Kempo Academy. Our daughter likes that she can learn at her own pace and not feeling like she is behind . Very lovely community for any age with lots of fun activities for parents and friends as well. Master Ross is patient and funny, but he will make sure that everyone knows their place and is following three simple rules : respect , self control and self discipline.
