The staff greeted us at the door and spent a lot of time working with us to find out what we were interested in. They steered us to the right information, including some old maps where our family had once lived. They even made copies of documents that interested us. As we prepared to leave they took our contact information and promised to get us in touch with the curator.

A gem of Sharon! Cooper Sheldon, Curator of the Sharon Historical Society and Museum, is knowledgeable, hilarious, and has a true passion for history and anthropology. One of the true stars of the Society. Enjoy the beautifully restored space, interesting exhibitions, and the great Mr. Sheldon.
