The members of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church are so friendly and welcoming! I was one of those " I don't have to go to church to believe" people because of some negative experiences I've had with churches I had attended in the past! However ever my kids started coming to Shawnee Hills with my mother and that resulted in myself coming as well! My first time attending service everyone was so nice and friendly, and it honestly felt like I had known them for years! The messages are uplifting and the Pastor is so passionate about The Word and the messages he preaches on! I could continue to go on and on about how remarkable this church and it's members are but you won't believe it until you've experienced yourself!

My family and I started attending Shawnee Hills about four years ago after having been with another lovely church for sixteen years. It was hard to leave our old church but The Lord let us know it was time to go. We went to several churches over the course of about 7 months and the moment we sat down in the sanctuary at Shawnee Hills we knew we were home. This wonderful group of people welcomed us like family and we’ve been there ever since. My wife and I have grown so much in our walk with God since we’ve been there. This is a Bible teaching, Jesus following, people serving church and we couldn’t be happier.
