The staff was friendly and all but I’m disappointed that I really needed this to look forward to for the month to feed my kids and 90% of the products I received were expired product. This is June 2025 and even my sodas were expired from March 2025 . We already cannot receive until every 30 days but the foods I received , couldn’t even last 2-3 days. I went 3 days ago and my strawberries are already molded. 😢

Asked if they could accommodate me before my appointment because I couldn't make the appointment because I just acquired a job and start on my appointment date. Couldn't do anything for me. So I guess if you're trying to better yourself don't go here for help. They only help Monday through Friday and stop helping after 3. Looks like this guy and his family will be a little extra hungry for a couple of weeks.

I get the best stuff here. I'm only allowed to go once a month, but to be able to pick the things I will use, as opposed to just being given random items, is so worth it! I'm fortunate to be able to receive this help. Thank you, Shoals Dream Center.

The last time I was there they had plastic boxes that said take 1 on each box so I did then when stated to leave a lady grab by biggie and started getting stuff out made me feel very disrespected like I was trying to get more than I should I told her what i thought it meant the way they had the boxes marked she act like she did not care just making me feel very disrespected in front of everybody I do not steal she acted like I was very unhappy need to learn respect for people.

This has always been a nice place for help when we needed it. But the visit today was so bad we will never come again. The office people are very nice and helpful but the people working in the food area were very disrespectful. They changed a rule an we were not notified of the changes at our visit. They talked about us negatively the whole time we were there. Because unknown to us the same rules didn't apply anymore. I am heartbroken. It is very hard to even ask for help but to come for help and then be judged for something we had no knowledge of is very wrong. I hope in the future they never need help and when they do they are treated better than they treated us.

I find them curious and professional and very pleasant to talk with. I think God these people have this program and understand that you have to have rules and regulations or policies whatever but I'm going to be honest here that 15 minute late policy I just can't agree with you're supposed compassionate caring and understanding and you going to deny someone food over 15 minutes and honestly I don't see someone being 15 minutes later interfering with the operation out there I really don't. Number two the receptionist she's a very unfriendly and and sometimes can be quite rude. But for everything else God bless those people that they're here to help people but if I can't be honest then I'm not being the Christian I claim to be. I believe God prefers me to be honest about my opinion and not sugar-coated. God bless all y'all at the dream center look forward to seeing you next month.
