The Silicon Valley Regional Testing Center (Test Center Room #10) is located on the campus of an adult education facility, but the setup could use some improvement. The testing area is not compartmentalized, allowing clear visibility of all rows of computers and other test-takers. The monitors have a distorted aspect ratio, making text difficult to read. The staff were not particularly friendly, and no noise-canceling headphones or earplugs were provided. Additionally, only two pieces of scratch paper were offered, which is unusual compared to other centers, like Pearson Milpitas, where more than ten pages are provided. Overall, this location is not recommended — it's hard to find, lacks proper equipment and adequate service, and did not appear clean or properly sanitized.

Visited today for the yearly car show. What a wonderful event! A wide variety of awesome cars, of course. Students were showcasing their work, such as repair and maintenance of electric vehicles, which was great to see. We had dinner at the Spaghetti Feed (students made it and managed with little adult supervision), and it was delicious. A++ overall!! We will be back!

I took 5 different classes there back in 1998/99. All relating to electrical. I've since gone to big name colleges, community college, and other occupational centers. I really feel like I got the most out of my instruction at CCOC. At the time I went there classes were dirt cheap, something like $50 a class. The Instructors were excellent, very knowledgeable and worked in industries that were related to what they were teaching. It was what I needed at the time since I was broke, had no real career or direction. Now I'm a master electrician and running my own company.

It's a good school. I am taking Forensic Science PM class in the 700s building (Room 706). I have Mr. E, and he is awesome. He's a really nice teacher. I am going to continue this class next semester. We have quizzes every Friday, sometimes on Mondays, but mostly every Fridays. We have PT (Physical Training) every Friday, and sometimes not. He always let us work independently in our groups, while he sits in his office and listens to the radio on his computer. The hub is open, but he doesn't want us to go there. I don't know why. Whenever his radio comes on to tell the teachers to send their students, if they want to the hub to get a snack, he would turn it down so we couldn't hear and get distracted. Sometimes earlier in the year, student from Dental class would come to our class and sell chocolate bars for a $1 each. But now, no more. Today, two students from Pharmacy class came to our class to tell us that if we donate blood, we will get a free ice cream. I didn't sign up because I don't think I would meet the requirements. I'm 5'1 almost 5'2 and I weigh 116 lbs, but they want a girl with the height of 5'1 or 5'2 to be 133 lbs.

But the bathroom in the 700s building is a bit spooky and creepy. I heard that somebody died in the big stall, in the girls bathroom in the 700s building a few years ago. I didn't know until last Friday. I was changing into my gym clothes for PT, and then after PT, I changed into my normal clothes in the big stall. Well, everything seems normal in there when I was changing. When my group was working on our crime scene case, my team mate told us that the big stall in the girl's bathroom is haunted because some girl died in there. That explains why the door of the big stall is always closed, and make people think that someone is in there, and the lights are off somtimes in the stalls. But when you look under nobody is in there. Today, one of my team mates went to the bathroom, and she said that it was creepy in there. Also, one of my other team mate went to the bathroom earlier this year, and she ran back to the classroom because the lights were off in there. So she got scared. She asked one of our team mate to go to the bathroom with her. Now I'm scared to go in there myself. Besides the spooky side of the bathroom, it's clean, it has a nice sink, but the the left and middle faucets doesn't work well like the right faucet. It has no mirror in there though. In my opinion, if there's a mirror in that bathroom, then you might see the ghost. Then, after we finished talking about the spooky bathroom, we started talking about the haunted house at Hellyer in San Jose, or it's also known as the Hell House. That's all I have to say. Sorry to scare anyone reading this, but it's true.

The vice principal I believe his name is Ted Altenberg, is VERY RUDE! I was a student there recently & while I was in class doing my work, he came in & called my name out & I polity greeted him, " hi " & he rudely told me to take my baseball hat off or leave his school. In his tone of voice & his demandment, I got offended. I would have took it off nicely if he respectfully & polity asked me to remove my hat. But NO! He had to come across like that towards me. That made me want to leave the school immediately & file a complaint because I do believe a vice principal represents the school and by it being the first time I met him, I thought he was just rude. I'm not very happy.

Best school took electrical. The teacher Mr. S was the best, truly caring about the field and the students. Giving us aplenty of test and hands on work.
