I have no words that can amount to my gratitude towards Sit Means Sit. This was the best experience I could have hoped for! We had our puppy enrolled in the 20-day board and train class. All of the trainers were so gentle and patient with our puppy, Lucy, and sent us regular updates on her progress throughout her time there. Skylar did an absolutely amazing job and we saw such a huge improvement in less than a week. When we introduced her to Lucy in the consultation, she was so sweet with her and made her very comfortable even though she was scared. She was shy and wouldn't even come out from under the bench at first. Now, she is so social and obeys commands better than we could have hoped for. She used to pull on the leash, bark, and refuse to listen to us or obey any commands we tried to teach her, and this training facility completely changed her for the better. I 100% recommended choosing Sit Means Sit if you are thinking about getting your dog professionally trained. I am confident that if they were able to train and desensitize our dog the way they did, they can do anything! Skylar answered all of our questions, was very gentle with Lucy, was very informative and thorough, and overall we loved how personable she was and recommend her! They even gave her a bath before we picked her up!

We put both of our dogs in the 20 day board and train program and it was the best thing we could have done for them. They are so well behaved, have great recall and can walk well on leash. I highly recommend sending your dogs here!

We spent about an hour with Todd Murphy and his beautiful puppy, Monet. Honestly, about 15 minutes in and we were already sold. Todd made a lot of promises that typically we wouldn’t believe but there was something different about our meeting and his interaction with our dog Teddy. We chose the two week option for Teddy to be boarded at Sit Means Sit, and so glad that we did. His trainer Ryan, is simply a really good person and a fantastic dog trainer. The turnaround in obedience in just two weeks without any interaction from us has been simply amazing. Todd thank you for providing us a better way with our puppy. Ryan, thank you for delivering on promises. we weren’t sure could be kept, but you delivered on and more. Thank you guys and thank you Sit Means Sit.

First, let me say that Sit Means Sit does what it promises: the training for my highly anxious, distractible, reactive dog was phenomenal. Anna was chosen to be Luna’s trainer, and she is so far above the skill level of any other trainer I have ever had for my dog that I am convinced she just has a calling to work with difficult dogs. She was kind, loving, steady, purposeful, highly intuitive and most importantly, effective in finally helping my dog learn to control her reactivity. My dog will always have a distractible, “ADHD” personality—a brain aberration—but now she can control herself with my reinforcing the techniques Anna taught her and me. At age 75, I no longer have to worry about her lunging at rabbits or at occasional dogs reacting to her on walks. As Anna instructed, I must reinforce the training. But Anna has given us both the opportunity to have peaceful walks together, and I am very grateful for this. Anna, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are gifted with dogs and took such good care of my girl.
Now let me comment on the Colorado Springs facility and the program. Knowing how anxious my dog is, I was reluctant to let her go to a board-and-train program. In visiting the facility first, I was immediately impressed by its cleanliness and order. There was no frenzy here, as I have seen at boarding kennels. There was a calmness and, as I spoke to staff and observed other individual training occurring in the indoor training area, I saw people who seemed happy and loving their work! There is a whole atmosphere of purpose and pride and caring. This took me aback a little. I then went on a tour with the owner. Kennels were spotless, dogs were calm, the kitchen was immaculate. An extremely well-run operation.
I felt very confident leaving my dog in their care, and I was not disappointed in any way.

What an incredible team at Sit Means Sit. Took our two boxers (Lucy and Desi) for one week Board and Train. Such a transformation in just that week. We now start private lessons with a trainer before graduating to group class and we look forward to the continued training. Highly recommended to choose Sit Means Sit for all your dog training needs.

Sit Means Sit trainers took my dog and made our bond more enjoyable. His behavior, yet still quirky, is outstandingly improved. They treated Ralph as one of their family and kept me assured he was well taken care of. He was enrolled in the 3 week board and train. Julia was his marvelous trainer.
