DON'T GO!!!!! I am writing this review on behalf of my child who was a student there for about 2 months. She started out with a very professional and caring instructor. She was the main reason my daughter chose the school. For whatever reason, the school fired her and brought in a morning instructor to fill in. Everything went downhill from there. This instructor made my daughter dislike a program that she was loving. Then the instructor failed my daughter who was doing well on tests and turning in the work. Her boss said that he would audit the grades and get back in touch with me. Needless to say, I never heard back from. Even when my daughter quit, he still didn't mention the audit. I am very disappointed with this school. There is a lot of childish mess going on there. The reason for the 2 stars was at least to acknowledge the admission counselor, Stephanie, for her professionalism and the help and encouragement that my daughter received from her.

Words cant describe how amazing SJVC is, I completed the MA program and during my time here I got to learn so much they really do set you up for success if you take it within yourself to go for it.
The instructors are wonderful especially Mrs.Amie she is the best at what she does and i wouldn't be the MA I am today without her guidance.
I was struggling a bit but Mirna helped me so much she is an amazing person and will help you with everything. I cannot thank SJVC enough for what they've done
Even after completing externship Mirna was always there to help find me a job and prepare me for everything.
Amazing college and amazing faculty

I had a great experience as a student, the pharmacy tech teachers were amazing and incredibly helpful. I’m rating the school with 3 stars only because of the amazing work of the teachers. The main reason why I chose to go to SJVC is because the school promises to help students find employment in their fields. I saw this happen for students who graduated before me, however when the time came for me to graduate I received no help from the school whatsoever. It has been 3 months since I graduated and I have yet to receive any employment offers or leads as the school promised to provide. I feel extremely let down and disappointed. The school provides a good learning environment but I do not feel as if their promises were met. Also, the graduation ceremony was postponed with no notice to the grads or explanation, not even an estimated date.

When I first started November 2019 it was a great school! Then we started virtual learning and the instructors from the other cities could care less. At one point the Teams group chat got so unprofessional I had to turn notifications off. I would write emails asking for help or to get clarification on an assignment and they would never write back. As a night student these instructors would not be available after a certain time mostly 6:00PM which was so inconvenient being that I chose this school because they offered night classes. I felt that I made it through my Medical Assistant program thanks to Ms. Moralez and Ms. Moreno! These instructors go above and beyond. I definitely appreciate them!!!!!!!!! If I was promised they’d be teaching for an Associates Degree than no doubt in my mind I would return but other than that no thank you.

The instructors are great and its a nice and hands on environment to be in, but the credits aren't transferable and neither are the degrees. Not to mention you're not guaranteed a job. If you've never had a job before and you've finished school at SJVC there's a high chance you're not going to get hired anywhere and you're going to be in debt. Overall this school screwed me over more than it helped me. DON'T GO TO THIS SCHOOL.

Not Worth the money, because it's "private" they charge you more than other schools, that not even FAFSA will fully cover it you would need to take out 2 more loans & do not offer anything special for being private. I am in the MA program, they run out of medical supplies & don't have enough equipment to be fully trained in certain medical equipments. If you're in the night class, expect to get less attention & less resources because everyone leaves early & does not care much about the night classes.

I've been attending SJVC since April 2017, one of the greatest decisions i could honestly say I've made. Teachers are great in regards of their teaching techniques. I could personally say they honestly teach what you need to succeed as a CMA. Mostly on the NCCT exam something other medical schools do not make it a priority. But its not all about teaching, it also gives you the training in how to communicate with others, and prepares you for an interview.
