Solid skills driving school was great and the instructor was very friendly, reasonable and overall I learned a lot when I was able to go, but I stopped due to moving, I’m proud that I completed the drug and alcohol course and I did get mailed the papers I needed to bring with me to the dmv, I had to move again and now I have to get everything figured out and put together finally! They thought us defensive driving and some things I remember specifically every time I’m in a car with anyone and that I will remember for the years in the future! Thank you solid skills for all you thought us, would definitely recommend for anyone teen or adult, Remember the days dates times and when you go to make sure you get there!!

Edit: They never electronically submitted my 8 hour completion of the drug/alcohol courses, and so when i went to make my license road test appointment i got the message so i called the dmv told me they haven’t taken paper ones in years, when i called and asked what i can do, i got told to reach out to the school, when i reached out to the owner/instructor i was told they’re no longer authorized as a school so now i have to figure out making time and losing pay to take time off while working two full time jobs to go and waste money again on something i already paid for and retake something i already took even though years ago i was told it never expired I really don’t understand if they’re no longer authorized as a school and can’t help me why they’re still advertised as open?
How?
Are people really spending money at an unauthorized unlicensed driving school?
I only chose solid skills when it was in Torrington over the next street because i like to support small businesses, Here i have been overstressed and exhausted working myself to death with the little light being thinking i have some peace in the aspect of getting my license and not having to retake the course as i have a physical paper saying i did it, but its worthless to the dmv….
