My daughter wasn't getting her French curriculum AT ALL. After just one tutoring session she was able to make an A on a quiz she took the next day! We now have hope that she can pass this class as even extra help from the teacher wasn't working. She needed someone that could explain it in a way she could understand it, and this tutoring is it!

Background- kiddo missed 3 weeks of school due to COVID. He was rather behind in Pre-Algebra which I am not much help with. I reached out to see about getting him some assistance when he ended up failing the third quarter. After the very first session (which my 14 year reluctantly attended) she texted me an additional example/problem to share with him. (working beyond her 1/2 time to make sure he got it) The next day he had a test/quiz in math. He met me when I came home with " I got a 94 on my math quiz!" Ya'll- his test grades are often a struggle, especially in math. I asked him if he thought the tutoring helped, he said maybe. (Which is yes in teen speak.) When we were working on family calendar for this week HE reminded me of his tutoring session and that he needed to do that and be ready to go to the HS football meeting as soon as it was over. Not only is he not trying to get out of it, he remembered and prioritized this time on his own. This tells me that Ms. Courtney has not only shown him he can do better with her support but she has won him over as well. I would 100% recommend her as a math/Algebra/pre-algebra tutor if needed. I have a feeling he will be working with her through high school and for ACT/SAT prep. So thankful to have someone who can help him where I can't.
Additionally, she has tutored my niece in both French and English and has been a game changer for her as well. So if your child needs some support check- and if it is something she tutors in try her out!
