The teachers are encouraging, communicative and focused on the safety, well-being and education of these small people. A true Montessori approach.

Our child attends South Coast Montessori and loves going to school there! We have found that the administration and the teachers are very communicative and seem to really care. They have a great app for attendance and for sharing photos, videos and other information. They put the children first which is at the heart of Montessori and we really appreciate all that they have done for our family. We would recommend this school to anyone!

I have two boys here - 3 and 5. The teachers are loving and compassionate and are truly invested in making my boys better people. At South Coast Montessori, the methodology with the primary and toddler aged kids is very play-based, which I love. My boys are able to follow what interests them on that day - whether it be art, creative play, building a foundation for math skills, reading or socializing with their friends. My oldest will start kindergarten in the fall and he is more than prepared socially, emotionally and academically. I would recommend this school and methodology of learning to anyone seeking a place for their child to gain independence, confidence and a great (and fun!) academic foundation.

We wanted to identify a place where our 2 year old son would have learning experiences that accelerated his development instead of other places where we visited where the curriculum was “keep them a live until 5”. Both my husband and I were very impressed with the South Coast Montessori toddler and infant program and felt fortunate to have found this school. SCM has immensely helped with our son’s development. He has learned how to cook bread, put away books and toys before he gets another, loves to help clean and developed good table side manners among other things. The school has a great environment, an excellent curriculum and amazing teachers that are working together with the parents to make each student their best self.
