Decent university, the professors tend to care about you and the staff is friendly. Could use a gym, but otherwise a very nice place to be

Edit: I was lied to by an advisor (or the advisor overpromised), and I had to miss a semester.

This community college is not about helping people get through school, it's about putting up barriers. Although I am Asian, but I am an American citizen! Why I can apply to the military and Bishop state Community College with my transcript verification , but not here?

The admissions supervisor is so bad!!! She brutally terminated my path to further education!!! God knew her mistake～

As a graduate of SUSCC (c/o 2002), I'm grateful for having the opportunity to start college here. Auburn University was an easy transition afterwards.

This college is a disgrace. Most of the teachers are useless at lecturing and worthless at helping you. Not to mention they make online classes use ProctorU for test. ProctorU’s lockdown system is terrible yet SUSCC still uses them. The State should quit funding this pathetic college and shut it down.

I had a good experience here. I had great professors and it isn't super expensive. Also had some friends that went to the welding trade school here and now has a stable job with a good salary. I used it to transfer to auburn. I did take off a star because it feels a little outdated and the bottom floor of the main building gets musty when it rains.

There was a teacher (who will remain nameless) that took months to grade my assignments. She took a month to grade an essay I had written only to tell me that I never turned it in then gave me a 0. I tried to sort the problem out with her via email because it was a technical error and she is ignoring my emails. It’s been almost 3 weeks. I tried calling SSCC and they have failed to return my calls. Needless to say I’m very disappointed.

They have a great assortment of current technology to study. So glad I got the opportunity to see the vast assortment of training labs. Making a choice is difficult but they make starting a career path easy.
