Best place to ride horses ever! Even though I used to ride and own horses 15 years ago, the knowledge I’m acquiring from taking lessons here is unbelievable.

The owner Caroline is a great teacher, passionate about horses and really care about them.

I’ve never seen horses that are well trained like Caroline’s!

I’ve never left a negative review in Google review ever in my life. Spring down is really disappointing. I’ve had experience where the instructor didn’t even show up for lessons. I’ve had multiple instances where they will literally START to walk the horse out the minute of the lesson stars and make you to get down the horse 3-5 minutes prior to the class ends so they can walk the horse back. Don’t expect a full 30 minutes lessons. They have a very outdated scheduling system and if you are in a standing lessons and forgot to attend due to miscommunication . They will keep charging you after a month and say “you owe us xxx dollars” instead of reaching out the first time you were not there. You see - they care about getting your dollars not really providing you the value and teaching you. Most importantly, don’t expect your skill to improve - if you are comfortable with cantering and aspire to be a jumper, 9 month later you will still be cantering. Don’t expect to learn anything else. If you wanted to attend classes here, I would recommend you to think twice before you act

‏I had a class with Kristine and her communication skills are absolutely horrible. All she asked me “ have you been on a horse before” after that no questions asked. She wanted to evaluate me but gives instructions either looking away or talking out loud looking the other direction. Any other instructor would ask to see a video or ask more questions about my level of training I had done previously. She was least bothered and just wanted to complete the class to get paid. I did complain in the office about her behavior. The owner is very sweet and the nicest lady who offered to evaluate me herself. The office staff is very friendly and ready to help. I would train here but def not with Kristine. She needs to enroll in customer relation courses to work on her communication skills.

I love Spring Down. The teachers care about your safety and the office members help coordinate with your schedule. The horses are supper sweet and chill. They are flexible when a cancelation happens and are always super understanding. My daughter entered spring down summer of 2020 and is know jumping. I feel super reliable when she is jumping and I am not watching. Perfect for any ages!

Great place to learn not just to ride, but also how to care for the horses, if you are so inclined. The trainers, caretakers, and office staff are always helpful with a smile. The stalls and facilities are clean and well attended to. Lots of outdoor space and easy to get to from town.

Instructors are helpful and sweet. An absolutely five star experience. (Every horse has very different characters here. Although it is possible that lesson for a green horse/green rider “fails”, overall speaking I learnt a lot here with a few lessons only)

My girls have been taking lessons here for several years. The staff is friendly, understanding, and supportive. Carol, the owner, knows and understands horses.
