Springs Charter Bear River Student Center is a great school with AMAZING teachers that genuinely care for their students. My kiddos have attended for 3 years now and it has been a wonderful experience. The passion the teachers have for teaching and helping kids grow is incredible. From the moment you enter the campus Mr. Ben greets you with a smile and a Good Morning and helps to ensure the kiddos safely cross the Drop Off lanes. Once entering the school building the smiles and kindness of Mrs. Nancy, Mrs. Gabby, Mrs. Christy and Mrs. Rosie welcomes parents and children hurrying to class. Upon exiting the campus Mrs. Pam and Mrs. Julie will always bestow upon you the wish for a good day! My kids have thrived so much at Bear River and it’s because of the great staff and passionate teachers that communicate during the late hours of the day, over the weekends and holidays. I will always be grateful to Mrs. Keegan, Ms. Napier, Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Collins, Mrs. Ginnine, Mrs. Barno, Mrs. Sanchez, Mrs. Kacy, Mrs. Emily and Ms. Melanie for all they do! These teachers are just some of the inspiring educators dedicated to nurturing the kids to help them learn and grow! They are not only concerned about the students’ educational journey but also try to help build character. Bear River is truly gem and is truly a GREAT school!

As a former student who is now nearly an adult i can say that i absolutely dreaded this school.

my experience was horrible, here are some examples.

1. i went to the guidance counselor and expressed i was being abused by my mother, she immediately called my mother, and the abuse got even worse, i begged and begged for them not to call her, fearing it'd get even worse and they did anyway.

2. i experienced homophobia and bullying daily, the bullies were never reprimanded despite staff being aware.

3. staff and teachers were rude, cursed at students.

4. The theater teacher was extremely harsh on the small children, many dropped out because of her behavior, often making them cry and uncomfortable, she had even yelled at multiple children for their mistakes in a play.

5. teachers are ignorant of what goes on in their school.

The Bear River Location for the Springs Charter Schools is an amazing school! We may be small but we are mighty. I have 3 children total and my daughter has been attending Bear River since Kindergarten during the pandemic. The entire staff did everything they could to make that situation as enjoyable as possible for their students. My daughter has enjoyed the tightknit and family environment provided by the entire staff. My daughter has flourished while attending this school. My son will be starting soon and he already knows several of the teachers and is excited to start as well. The school is clean and maintained and has regular fun events for families to attend. The staff really hears and cares about the parents input and it just feels like I have more teammates to the raising of my kids. If you are looking for a school to help with your village, this is the one for you.

So extremely happy with this school and all the staff that help teach and keep our babies safe. Our son was so unhappy with his public school but as soon as we were accepted, he has excelled so much, especially in reading and loves going to school everyday to focus on his “Growth mindset!” Thank you to all of the amazing staff (definitely to many to name by name) but i hope you all know you all are so appreciated and so deserving of so many more stars than just 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ love and recommend this school so much.

My son was touched in the bathroom at this school. After taking him to a therapist for evaluation they discovered its been going on for a year! And last year he was in Kindergarten, so the bathroom was attached to the class. I remembered the teacher told me that another boy had been playing in the bathroom and my son had gotten in trouble at the time because that boy was not allowed in the bathroom anymore then he started asking MY son to go with him. Then he started asking my son the next year, to go with him to the bathroom. My son said that he felt bad for him because nobody wanted to play with him :o!!! He told my soon not to tell anyone! They are not even in the same class! He finds my son at lunch. The Vice Principal, Mrs. GOODING said there was no evidence that this happened. They could not do anything other that have an adult escort my son every time he has to go to the bathroom. Why is my son punished and singled out when he is the victim. That boy is still at the school. I had to take him out of the school and leave his friends and Teacher he loved because they cannot protect him. I warned them that the boy will have to find another boy "to play with", just like last time he was prevented from going with "his friend". Im not going to allow my son to be touched innappropriately. Too bad nobody else there cares.

We’ve been apart of the Bear River location for 2 years now. We have been very happy with the teachers (Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Kissun) along with lots of the staff we’ve come into contact with. I’m looking forward to having both my kids attending this location next year!

Highly disappointed in the staff. My 6 year old was told by a teacher she would pick her to be a part of her class for the next school year. When teachers were assigned we were surprised to find out she wasn’t in her class. I asked the administration and they said they “couldn’t” do anything about it. My poor girl cried and still says why didn’t she pick me? I sent an email to the teacher and no response. After the first day of school my daughter told me one of the kids from her class was transferred to her class. She could have made everything right and chose not too. I would always recommend Bear River to everyone and talk highly of the school. Now I will just not say anything when friends or people ask in the community.
