The St. Charles City-County Library is so unbelievably well ran. They have an amazing selection of books. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.
And today I saw some fishing poles on a pillar. The library has fishing poles you can check out!

Friendly, very helpful, colorful, I miss seeing staff in cute, 'I love reading' shirts! Patrons need to be a bit more considerate with their loud talking & running, yelling kids! It IS a Library!

It's a nice library. I enjoy the free classes there. They are very intellectually stimulating. Cathy, the librarian, is smart and soft spoken. If you're interested in teaching a free class that they don't offer, either tell her in person or write it on a class feedback form and she can help you make it happen.
Cindy, the librarian, is a loving, kind, and crafty librarian. She teaches free sewing, beading and other classes.
Free Cell phone photography classes are interesting.

This place is great! I needed to send a fax and not only did they help me send it. It turned out to be free! How awesome ! They have so much there dvd moives, video games for play station, Nintendo, you can use their computers for free & of course books for all, they even loan out telescopes!! The library isn't what it used to be that's for sure! Love this place. As an over the road truck driver I have been in alot of places. St Charles county has the best libraries I have ever seen.
