Was very easy to locate and access. We went on Good Friday and visited the chapel, which was prepared for the Easter mass. Beautiful and peaceful place to visit with so many photo opportunities. We were greeted by the monks and priests openly. Highly recommend!

When I hear "island" I assume packed with tourists. But not this place. 9.12.21 we visited for our 1st time and absolutely loved the peaceful and beautiful 11 acre island. It was a calming, spiritual and powerful experience. We didn't know much about this place except that it was free and open to all. I'm Catholic so I especially enjoyed the church, statues etc. but anyone of any faith is welcome here. You can walk around the gardens, sit an relax and enjoy nature or look at the ocean. It's a beautiful place to think and reflect and be thankful for all we have.

I have to say this was the most peaceful day of my life. As I love gardening and flowers this was a flower lover's delight. Everybody was so welcoming and I was even invited to stay for lunch. I briefly spoke with Father Reggie who sat next to me at lunch what a wonderful priest. I really want to come and stay for a few days to get the full experience.

What a beautiful spot! I enjoy taking my dog for a walk here. The grounds are lovely with all the beautiful gardens and of course the water views surrounding the island. I love the chapel by the water where people leave candles and prayers for loved ones. They offer retreats and masses here too. Also have special events.

If you LOVE flowers —and peace— try visiting in Spring for the daffodils, in July to see their roses then in mid October to witness the colors of the extensive Dahlia collection. (There are some donation boxes on the property.) There a small church and also a smaller darling chapel/altar build into the rocks. Tell the neighborhood guard in the box that you are there to see the flowers at Enders. He or she will let you pass. Try out Kitchen Little for breakfast at the marina.

Second time here. The first time I came I stayed at The Taber inn in New year's eve 2020 in Mystic . I went to pray here on new year's day in 2021 and I felt very deep emotions of joy, regret, awe.I thanked God for 2020 and asked blessings for a prosperous2021.
Second time I kayaked from Mystic seaport(Floatchella 2023)all the way to here. Parking lot was full. Some people were swimming, having a good time nearby. I prayed some parts of the rosary while I rested at Seaside chapel. There was a couple fishing right in front of the chapel oceanfront enjoying their time.
The place is very serene, charming. Praying to the lord and Virgin Mary while listening to the waves was so magical, biblical.
Enjoy your time here!

It's one of the best scenic places I've visited so far in US. A small beautiful picturesque island away from all the hustle of the city, located at the end of a lovely city- Mystic; is a must visit spot for CT ppl who have an eye for naturally beautiful and serene places. The place has an archaic yet refreshing feel to it which is a haven for photography enthusiasts and nature lovers. I'd love to visit again with my family.

This gorgeous space is perfect for rejuvenation. The grounds are spectacular and being at the ocean feels healing. It’s very peaceful and makes one feel safe emotionally. Meeting with a spiritual director helped guide me in my private retreat. I highly recommend it for anyone that needs to regroup, recharge, or simply to relax away from the harried every day life.
