Drug Activity and Overdoses in Treatment Centers being “NORMALIZED ”! —————————-Stonington Institute Groton is full of drugs! Patients are buying selling and trading for drugs, cigs, mj pens and even prison tattoos in a treatment facility? Fighting, bullying and gang activity are being ignored! No cameras and no security! OD’s are suddenly “Normal”! It’s a free for all! Heard a fight over the phone and hours later when my husband arrived there was someone being wheeled into an ambulance on a gurney! They heard someone yell out; “another overdose”! I was told there were overdoses here on a regular basis by my reliable Recovery Support Group Network! My husband and I didn’t believe it! Another drug/alcohol counselor told me she picked up a client of hers just the other day! He too said the place was loaded with drugs and there was fighting and that he begged her to write an anonymous review! Why anonymous? Let’s get this out there! Please don’t send your loved ones to a drug infested unsupervised program like this! When challenged I had drug/alcohol counselors telling me this was the “Norm”? This is NOT normal! OD’s, drug use, fighting, gang activity is NOT and should NOT EVER be ACCEPTED as the “NORM”! ANYWHERE especially a TREATMENT/REHAB Facility! We want our loved ones to get HELP and be safe! Thank you! I hope this is investigated ASAP!
