This semester for Chem 151 was rough at first because I was struggling and was getting bad exam scores. I needed a tutor and found Lori's contact on a U of A page for tutoring. I picked Lori out of other tutors listed because she has a lot of background in other science courses so I knew I could continue tutoring with her as I moved on in science courses I have to take for my major. Lori offers group and private tutoring which are both GREAT! I wasn't learning the lessons in lecture so the fact that Lori goes over the material and gives us her own lesson on the subjects helped so much. Group tutoring is great if you don't have a lot of money to spend and don't do very good learning in groups. Private tutoring is the best idea if you have the money and are really struggling. Lori is a great teacher and really cares about you learning the material. The next exam after starting tutoring I got an A, a big step from my other test scores. I definitely will be going back for Chem 152. The place is also not far from campus and is really nice with natural lighting.

I just finished up my freshman year at UA and worked with STEM Excellence over the pass year to help me with general chemistry (151 and 152). I can not be more grateful to have reached out to them for help when I was struggling. Lori is an amazing tutor and she truly cares the most for her students. She wants you to succeed and gives you the resources to do so with live lectures twice a week and recorded concept videos. Without STEM, I would not become the person I am today and would not have been able to flourish in chemistry. If you are planning to take gen chem or other science courses and need some extra help, I cannot recommend STEM enough.

This program has helped me tremendously with my science classes, especially general chemistry and organic chemistry. Before I started this program as a freshman I was struggling understanding the material in general chemistry 1, but after signing up with Stem Cell Excellence they helped me comprehend everything better and I raised my grade. They have also been very helpful with giving useful advice on my route to medical school. I highly recommend this program for anyone struggling or wanting to get A's in science classes, and anyone on the pre-med track.

I HIGHLY recommend STEM Excellence Tutoring. They have been and continue to be SPECTACULAR. They have been able to reduce mine and my daughter stress level by providing the best strategies needed to excel in all her STEM classes including flexible hours as well as extra needed sessions to help with all her exams. My daughter is a Pre-Med student and has been supported by Lori and team since her freshman year to assist with all that is needed to prepare for MCAT and medical school application process. Lori has been amazing to work with. I was struggling with my chem 151 class at UA and she was able to establish where things were going wrong and help me feel more confident in my chemistry abilities. I have utilized both her group tutoring sessions and private tutoring sessions, and both have been extremely helpful. She gives a full overview of concepts in ways that are easy to understand, as well as practice problems that prepare you for exams. I would recommend Lori and STEM Excellence to anyone.

Stem Excellence, Dr. Lori and the amazing tutoring staff have helped my daughter not only 4.0 her first semester in college, but have prepared her to truly understand the material, taught her valuable study skills, and have been a constant support system. I recently utilized this service. I have to say that I wasn't sure if it was worth paying for the study session, but since I struggle in chem 152, I figured I could try it out.
I joined the Zoom link, and I was able to ask questions as needed. I gained a strong understanding of the subjects we studied. While taking my exam I felt a sense of confidence and certainty. I received my grade and I got an 80%, which has been the highest score ever!
I am extremely happy to announce that I felt like I truly learned without judgment for being a bit slower than the average student.
I passed chem 152 with a B 💫!
