We bought a gift card at a fundraiser a few months ago, and were never informed that it had an expiration date. We just noticed that in the extremely fine print, it says that it's only good for summer 2024. We contacted them, and they said we were too late, and the gift card is now worthless. Even though there is still one month left of summer, they say it means "their summer", not the actual season. Also, even though gift cards cannot expire in California, they argue that it's technically not a gift card, even though it fits all the criteria for one. They flat-out refused to give us any compensation or allow us to use the gift card for something else. Avoid this money-grubbing, miserly corporate chain.
