On 7/18/2016 my daughter was at the Stockton kids club. A lot of the kids bring cup of noodles from home that are cooked by the staff. Apparently one of the staff members gave my daughter a cup of boiling hot noodle's that spilled on her legs causing 2nd degree burns. The emergency contact numbers on file includes 1. My direct line at work "no calls". 2. My cell phone "no calls" 3. My mother’s cell "no calls" 4. My step dad who gets the call while he is on the road working. In the meantime the Recreational Aide was told by the director " her boss" to take my daughter to urgent care πŸ˜•on Hammer lane for a 2nd degree burn When they got to urgent care with my daughter crying her heart out they were instructed to take her to the ER "Dameron, clear across town"..... which should have been the 1st stop!!!! When i saw my babies leg it took everything out of me not to break down in front of her.
This whole situation has me very upset.
I'm so frustrated I just don't understand 1. Please tell me who would give a child a cup of boiling hot noodles? 2. Who would tell the staff to take a child to urgent care for 2nd degree burns " Our Mayor Anthony Silva whom I voted for" smh.... 3. When should I expect a phone call from someone to at the very least check on her? So here I am had to take off work to take care of my baby that is in excruciating pain that kept me up all night when I paid for her to go to this kids club where I was sure she would be well taken care of being that I personally spoke with the Mayor before signing her up. I understand accidents happen but I think giving a child a cup with boiling hot water is a bit negligent!
