The Stockton Unified School District only are one side when it comes to listening to a parent concerns. There were a driver which I attempted to have a civil discussion with for leaving my child when we literally was step outside when the driver pulled off. I address the issue and the driver was abrasive. I addressed the is with administration and want a new driver. I was told their driver was professional and I could not have a new driver.

I felt the administeration staff painted a picture as of I been the aggressive! No apologies was warrant. I felt there only care about the driver and not the parent if there's concerns!

SUSD office is useless. Marcelina gatekeeps everything and looks for how to not assist people and instead sends them away without what they need. I watched her do it to 4 different parties of people in a matter of 10 minutes. What a waste of a paycheck.

This school district does not care about your kids. So, I decided to register my child in the virtual academy they had to offer due to the public health climate from Covid-19. The conditions were set in the beginning that the students would have independent work the first two weeks and then after the initial first two weeks there would be teachers assigned to the students. My child is in his third week without any teachers, books, materials, or resources for him to learn and study. The administration has not reached out to any parents about the status of teachers and the parents are currently left confused and feeling like their kids are being left behind. I am outraged that my child is not getting the education he should be getting even under these circumstances. Parents are expressing their concerns on google classroom and the administration has now disabled comments for everyone, including students who may need to ask questions for assistance. I am deciding to look for online options for my child so I can take him out of this district. I am very disappointed.

Have a child who's 9 yrs old..She attends Woodrow Wilson elementary School. They have 5 teachers who are suppose to assure that each child is being pick up by the right person and making sure they don't cross the street without a cross guard. What's happening is the teachers are busy complaining to parents of different children and not paying attention to the reason why they are out there. Kids run across the street without looking out for cars..kids run out and run down the sidewalk . Sometimes the crossing guard is not out there..Cars are parked in the middle of the street waiting on children. it's absolutely a jungle out there and needs IMMEDIATE attention

After reading some of these comments...In my own words we all have different opinion and main ideas etc... My experience from Stockton Unified School District, was excellent. I am a single mom with Three children's, nieces and nephew attend school in El dorado Elementary k-8 and Stagg High School 9-12. They all graduated and become successful. In addition, after completions of graduating from high school-they also attended San Joaquin Delta College- California State University Stanislaus -Sac State University graduated 2022. Parts of this success is actually, quite simple teaching your child how to be successful, responsibility, accountability and get involve in the community etc. If you want your child or students to succeed, be a good solid foundation, and full support starting from home and secondary is the school. No matter what school environment your child or students is attending, us parents we are the first teacher and teaching our child- students with morals, values and communication skills is the part of key to prosperity in life. At the end of the day, we all have work to do. Parents, Faculty and Teachers we all have different thoughts and knowledges on how to collaborates and engage into students' success. Me personally, the biggest factor is followed up on your child and students' academic progress and is the key to thriving- communication with the educator, pass experience (SUSD). Helping hands is the key to all of us Adults be a good team and leader-roll model to all student's success and more generation to come.

I have full confidence in the competence of most of our educators. My concern lies in the security that each campus offerers to us a district. It is way to lenient on strangers stepping foot on campus. Whether they’re students or parents. As a parent with children in the district I would like to see more parents volunteer whatever free time they have to help show our history rich city to send a message to all saying “NOT OUR STUDENTS”!!

Stockton unified school district is disgusting. They allow nits which is lice for those of you who dont know in school. So if a student comes to school with nits they are ok to go to school and pass it to the next kid... my kids have caught it 3 times from school and not once will they even notify parents that lice is going around really bad. So parents check your children's heads even if you have boys check their heads oh and I found out that schools dont even have nurses on campus because the one nurse goes from school to school... lice is going around Stockton unified school district and they allow it

Hello this school district mite not be the best but it deserves 5 starts. 1 becaosue they are working with what they have to give my children and every ones a better life and sure they mite be some teacher that show other wise but it's not the districts foult. And plus this district is very diverse witch I like. This district is the district for you children instead of rating them one star and 2 and all the rest why don't you go help out do something good and show you children how to be a good person (now I'm not saying your not... becaosue you mite be busy all the time) but take time and invest in your children's education.....couse learning frist starts at home you know .?.. and Last but not least learn to give back to the community be a part of it and not just a side stander ...... well that's my point of view if you think other wise. You're entitled to your own opinion.
