I can't imagine how difficult it must be to be in blue! I appreciate these amazing people! They are always kind, prompt and listen. They are nonjudgmental. Thank you to the whole Public Safety staff! I have concerns regarding the conduct of some policemen and firefighters in Sunnyvale. Despite my respect and trust for those groups, I believe that certain individuals are unsuitable for public service. These people demonstrate a complete disregard for accountability and transparency, and are using their military-grade weapons recklessly. Furthermore, they are driving recklessly to non-emergency calls and frequently employ sirens and weapons needlessly. It is my belief that these individuals present a significant threat to public safety.

Furthermore, I have concerns about the manner in which the Sunnyvale Police Department conducts their internal investigations. Internal affairs officer Ketchum has not been returning calls and has been cleared of homicide, yet instances of transphobia, misogyny, and discrimination against trans people and their associates continue to occur within the department. Despite this, the ACLU and Santa Clara county have not taken appropriate measures to address these concerns.

Given the aforementioned circumstances, I believe that a civilian-led approach to policing in Sunnyvale would be more effective and safer for the community at large.
