Although I joined this class late and have only been here for ~3 years, I value the time I spent here very much. The teachers here are very passionate and it's obvious that they care most about the student's learning and growth. The part of this class that stood out to me the most is its unique way of teaching. For every lesson, we tie everything we learn, even the older curriculum, to current events and stories. I really appreciate this style of teaching as this makes the class more engaging while also allowing the lessons and skills we learn to be applicable not just to Chinese language and culture, but also other everyday life activities.

I really enjoyed these classes and the final year was incredibly helpful for preparing for the AP exam. The teachers are all very patient, supportive, funny, and passionate. Even though I personally missed multiple classes throughout the year, they always tried their best to catch me up. They also integrated many of their stories into the learning making it very fun and interesting.

In this class, I learned a lot of Chinese, especially in preparation for the AP exam. The classes weren't too stressful, and the workload was fairly light. The teacher was very supportive and would always find a compliment, even during a bad day. She would be very positive and always look on the good side, which in my opinion benefitted the whole class environment. Through these years, my Chinese improved drastically, and I had a great time.

I felt the class prepared me really well for the AP Chinese exam. It could of been that the test itself this year was easy, but the material in the class actually felt harder than the actual exam. The teacher was also very supportive, and taught us essential skills for life. She also gave very interesting stories, especially the ones about Confucius.

Through learning Chinese at this school, I was able to improve my Chinese skills while making new friends at the same time. The classroom environment was welcoming and comfortable and I really appreciated the vast amount of exposure of Chinese culture through speaking, writing, and listening to stories and jokes that the teacher told. Overall the learning experience was very fun and enjoyable.

I had a good time here. The teachers were really engaging. I learned a lot, and I especially enjoyed the unique teaching style that they practice here. The teachers did not only teach Chinese, but also skills like communication and time management skills, as well as a lot of Chinese culture and intriguing stories regarding the history of China.

I'm a freshman ts year and I did the AP Chinese class here. Even though I only started in January, and only knew the teacher for 4 months, I learned a lot of valuable things.

Teacher here has a very clear passion for teaching, and great personality. She cares about every student and knows how to make class enjoyable. Thank you 🙇

When I first started learning Chinese here in 6th grade, I could barely read anything or write/type anything. Now after 4 years, I am able to read, speak, and write with enough proficiency to take the AP test. The teachers here are great and and have helped me so much! The curriculum has also stuck with me for a while now, and I don't expect to forget it soon.
