My child has a learning disability and ADHD and has been struggling in school with all subjects since Kindergarten. Most tutoring services would not take him on as he was so far behind. Sylvan not only was able to take him but they have provided the much needed support to help my son close the gap between his reading level and grade level. He still has work to do but Sylvan has been a wonderful tool and outside help. He enjoys his sessions without feeling burned out or pressured. He is challenged and praised and he feels proud and confident after mastering a skill or working independently. The staff are kind and welcoming and my son has even made some new friends that he looks forward to seeing at each session. Thanks Sylvan Fairfield we appreciate you!

I love this place. My son has benefited greatly from attending Sylvan Learning Center here in Fairfield, CA. I feel the staff is very welcoming and friendly. I feel they genuinely care how my son progresses with his learning. If you’re thinking about getting your child help. I would highly encourage you to at least bring your child in for an assessment. It does cost however, I believe it is worth it to ensure they are staying caught up with their studies at school.

In the 6 or so weeks my 8-year old son has attended Sylvan, I've already seen improvements in his confidence, spelling and the ability to try. During independent work time, he is able to spell more words correctly and has started to complete his work on time. He is excited to go to Sylvan everyday and the team has just been a blessing to our entire family. My 12-year old daughter has been attending Sylvan for about three weeks and seems to be enjoying it as well. I think it might be too soon to assess the impact, but I have no doubt it will be positive as well. I can share that Melissa, Director of Education, contacted me earlier this week to share feedback from the teachers. When I relayed this information to my daughter, she lit up like a Christmas tree, which I believe had a positive impact on her confidence. To hear that she performed "excellent" during 1:1 work was encouraging and will empower her as she is struggling to perform just as well asynchronously. As a tween, this is an incredibly important time to build confidence, so this was huge for all of us. Both of my children have shared that it does not quite feel like work, which is awesome especially during distance learning as we do not want to overwhelm our children, yet we need to fill in the gaps they've missed immediately. You will not be disappointed. This is an investment and Lori, Center Director, will help find suitable payment options. Do not allow finances to deter you from getting the help your child needs. Where there is a will, there is a way. Sylvan has many options to help your kiddo.

I love this place. The assessment test at the beginning of joining Sylvan really helps to know at what level your kid is performing, and the whole program is arranged so that the kid can improve from the level he/ she is and advance in the subject matter. This program is to build a strong base for the kid so that they become more comfortable in the subject. The teachers work really well with the kids to ensure they understand the basics of the topic before they move on to the next. My kid really looks forward to Sylvan class and is always so excited to go and learn new things. I will definitely recommend Sylvan learning of Fairfield to all parents. Thank you.

Sylvan has done an exceptional job in bringing my daughter back to the level of where she should be and better! The last 2 years since Covid, her teachers did nothing to improve her learning skills. All her report cards stated she was at standard level and was a great student. Had we not taken her to Sylvan over the summer we would not have known she was not at standard level. Sylvan motivates my daughter to do well. The tutors explains the subject matter clearly, shows how to analyze the question in order to give the correct answer to the problem. And really focuses on my daughter’s needs. Since school has started, my daughter’s passion to learn has increased and no longer finds learning boring!!! She wants more! Thank you Sylvan and Miss Morehead for the guidance in our daughter’s educational journey!

I have been taking my 16 year old son to sylvan for the last 3 years and it has been a priceless experience. The help he gets from sylvan is beyond what he would receive from the typical tutoring session. Sylvan tailors his sessions to his needs and is incredibly flexible. The communication with the teachers and myself is wonderful and I am always up to date with how his progress is going. His confidence in school has boosted which was one of my main goals for him. He has enjoyed working with all his teachers and they really work together as a team to help all of the students. He feels supported there as well and I can see this is a place where he can be himself as well. In the beginning, there was some sticker shock with the price but it is seriously worth every penny! I wish I would have started him here sooner!
