Sylvan has been a life saver for us. Our daughter was a struggling reader with low self confidence. If I asked her to read, she would go find the smallest book she could with lots of pictures and tried to guess her way through it.
Within a few months she is doing so much better. She is confident enough now to call out words on street signs, words on products in the grocery store, and even open the Bible with me and read and follow along.
I highly recommend Sylvan Learning.

I found Sylvan through a friend & I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for extra help for their children. My daughter started at the beginning of the school year (because Mom was nervous about the big 3rd grade test and wanted to ensure she was on top of everything). Sylvan has helped her catch up on A BUNCH of skills she was lacking in. Not only that, she loved going there! The staff made her feel so at home! My daughter made it seem as if it wasn’t extra work & she enjoyed learning more. Grade wise, she hasn’t went past a B since she started with them. When she started, she was struggling a little bit in math, but now, she has passed her big 3rd grade test and is going to the 4th grade thanks to the help of Sylvan! 10/10 I DEFINITELY recommend!

My son was not a strong reader, but could comprehend good. I signed him up for Sylvan Learning Center with the 3rd grade reading state test being only less than one month away. They started working with him and building up his confidence! His grades started to improve and today I received a call that he passed his reading state test! Literally the best tutoring program ever!!!!

This is a review worth writing. If your child suffers & needs additional help & nothing seems to work. Please don't wait!! Reach out to Sylvan Learning Center. My son has had an IEP for 3-4 years now & once we changed schools, he had an IEP that they really didn't do anything with him to help him. He was able to barely pass on his own & for that reason they dismissed him from his IEP which was a Specific Learning Disability in Reading & Comprehension. He is currently in the 6th grade & all avenues that we have seeked out have not been successful. So, I finally decided to give Sylvan a call, at this point what do we have to lose. My son has had a D average this past year with ELA & has really struggled. Just in a short 6 weeks of being @ Sylvan he has brought home 2-B's & 1-A in ELA which is awesome. I finally feel that he is getting the proper professional help that he needs & deserves. So, for that thank you all so much. I can't wait to see what all he can & will accomplish due to your help & guidance.
