We seen our daughter struggle in Kindergarten and we wanted to find help for her. We went to Sylvan Learning of Jackson for an assessment and we have had major success since we started her in their program!! The director and teachers really care about the students and make learning fun and exciting. They adapt to the students and the way they learn to make them successful. When we walk in the door we get welcomed just life family! We are over the moon to see our daughter strive and succeed in just a few months. She now enjoys learning and we could have not done this without Sylvan Learning of Jackson!

My daughter started at Sylvan just before the pandemic hit. I am so impressed with how quickly and seamlessly Sylvan was able to transition to virtual meetings. The virtual meetings worked out so well for our family that we continued to get her tutoring that way even once the classroom opened back up again. It allowed us to still go camping and for her to have over night visits with friends without the burden of the long drive and interruption of the day going to the classroom. We also loved that she had the same teacher throughout the program. She has now completed her program and has grown so much!

I brought my very shy kindergartner to Sylvan because she was in tears every morning before school because she thought school was too hard. After only a couple sessions at Sylvan I could see learning was becoming easier for her and most importantly she was having fun! Thanks to all the wonderful women at Sylvan of Jackson she now skips into Sylvan and her school with a big confident smile on her face!!

I enrolled my son into the ACT prep course to prepare him for the ACT. On his initial practice exam, before the course, he only scored a 17. After the course and on his first official ACT test, he scored 23 overall. I was happy that his score went up, but knew he could still do better. After looking at his individual scores, I noticed that he only scored a 19 in reading. So, I called the Sylvan Learning Center of Jackson and decided to enroll him in a speed reading course. Two months later and on his second official ACT test, he scored a 25 overall, and his reading went from a 19 to a 28!!!
My son told me that he knew he did much better in his reading because he actually answered all of the questions and had plenty of time to go back over them. His confidence level in reading is soaring!
Thank you Sylvan, this class was well worth it and will help my son in many areas!

My son has struggled in math for the past couple of years. Sylvan program has given him more confidence and the skills he needs to be successful at school. He also loves the token system that rewards him for his efforts and keeps him motivated. Highly recommend!!!

Our son has been enrolled in the program for a little over a month. He normally does not enjoy school but he likes going to Sylvan and his math grades have been going up ever since he started the program. He appreciates the patience and understanding his teacher at Sylvan has with him.

I am very impressed with Sylvan. Not only do they make students feel more confident about what they are learning, but they create personalized programs for them. Sylvan works on the skills with the students as many times as they need and the teachers are willing to teach the content multiple ways. Coming here was SO worth it.

They have done wonders with my son Isaiah! I have to say, I had my doubts when my wife told me we were entering him. They have completely turned him into a new kid, for the better! They're incredible! Highly recommend!
