I would like to take a moment to review the Sylvan Learning Center my son has been attending here for the past 4 weeks , my son attends Sylvan Learning Center ? 2 days a week in two hour blocks of time.

The staff is very attentive, my son enjoys going to Sylvan, and looks forward to going every day.

They are working on rhyming sounds and letters with him . Last week is the first time he was able to sound out a sentence on his own in front of his class.

It didn't work out for our 4-year old autistic son, but they tried with great sincerity and were very honest about what was working and what wasn't. They showed kindness, compassion, and flexibility, a rarity in eduction providers these days. Everyone we met with was highly knowledgable, and most importantly, mission focused on helping my child succeed. When my child is further developed and more appropriately suited I have no doubt Sylvan is going to be a part of his lifelong learning success. Thank you for your efforts.

My son was having a terrible time at school, falling further and further behind. Started going to Sylvan with Ms. JoAnn twice a week and he drastically improved and really enjoyed going. The attention he was given gave him the tools he needed to succeed and he is much happier in school which in turn makes me happy! Definitely the place to go if your child needs help or you want them to stay/improve their current educational level. Worth every penny to give my son the tools he needs to succeed in school which in the long run will be life. I'd give them more stars if I could!

I am a big fan of Sylvan and Joanne.

Although my son has always done well in school, I noticed his grades dropping a little as he's gotten into higher grade levels. I felt if he could become a more proficient reader it might help him in all of his courses. We spent the summer with Sylvan doing 3x 2 hour sessions per week. His grades and his confidence have shown it so far this school year. We don't see the simple mistakes that we were seeing previously where he simply didn't read or understand the questions.

Could not be happier with the outcome. In fact, we are starting our youngest in the program one day per week during the school year and our oldest will be back this summer for the same program as before.

I think that this program, because it is tailored to their current abilities, would be good for anyone who wants to be a better student and prepare themselves for college.

After homeschooling due to COVID, all 3 of my kids were behind. I met with JoAnn and she put together a plan to get them all caught up over the summer and ready for school in fall. I have been so happy with their progress!! The kids all love going and I can tell they are learning in ways that will help them for a lifetime. They are so patient and caring with the kids. I can’t recommend this center enough!! Best decision I could have made my kids. They now have far more confidence heading into school.

Our daughter has been struggling to learn how to read for over 1.5 years. We have given her tutors and she has made progress. However still well below grade level. My daughter LOVES going to Sylvan 4 hours a week! I was initially very worried about this time frame since she is in 2nd grade but absolutely no issues. She loves going and works hard. Her skills have really improved with only going through 1/3 of the program. Sylvan is filling in the gaps. I am confident we will have a reader fairly soon. Thank you Sylvan!!

Absolutely amazing place! I highly recommend this Sylvan facility to any student at any level to attend. My son was struggling to get back into school for a few months , but with the help of the staff, it gave him the confidence and assurance he needed to excel in his studies. Now he is doing great and is happy going to school again!
