We had a fantastic experience at Sylvan Learning of Lee's Summit. Trying to get my daughter to read used to be like pulling teeth. Last August we came to Sylvan, set a goal of where we wanted to be, and thanks to the wonderful team at Sylvan, she exceeded her goal even earlier than planned. I would highly recommend Sylvan to any parent looking for some additional support for their child - you won't regret it!

My son recently utilized Sylvan Learning Center and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they worked to develop a customized program that fit my son's learning style and goals. Sylvan of LS has been so great for our family! Our son started behind in 4th grade math and after 4 months(3 hours a week) he is testing into 6th grade math!! He loves the small groups where he gets the individual help he needs. He loves the reward system where he can build up tokens and buy things from the sylvan store. As a mom, everyone has been so nice and welcoming to me. Nothing makes me happier than a team who supports my sons' education. The fact that they have financing available is the best! Such a great way to be able to afford the extra help our son needs. If I ever need to move our schedule around they are very flexible- being mindful of their protocols. Cannot say enough great things about this place!! We are coming back in the fall to keep our son on par with math while starting our homeschool journey and I can't wait for it!!! If you're on the fence, I'm here to say JUST SIGN UP!!!

We have been very impressed with how attentive and thorough the staff has been here. Our son has really done well with the structure and he is learning a lot. There were some holes in his knowledge and Sylvan's structure and program have done an excellent job on plugging those holes (far better than just hiring a tutor) and...my son actually enjoys it!!

As a student who is currently taking the SAT and ACT, I find that practice tests are the most valuable resource to improve your score. Compared to other resources online, I think the tests offered by Sylvan are more like the real SAT and ACT. I highly recommend this service to anyone else looking to improve their score for either test.

We started our journey with Sylvan this past February, and I'm amazed at the results. My daughter struggled with reading and it effected everything else. Over the past eight months I have seen a new reader emerge. She has gained so much confidence, and it is obvious in her new love for reading. She chooses to read on her own now, which she would never have done a year ago. She is also excited to tackle the word problems in her math homework. I can't imagine what our evenings would look like if we hadn't started at Sylvan. I am so thankful for the staff at this location. They have worked wonders!

Overall its been a great experience. My son loves Sylvan and all the teachers! In a little over 2 months he has gone from a 3rd grade reading level to a 5th grade reading level!! His confidence is getting better as well. Honestly i can't begin to express how grateful I am.
