Our son was wanting to increase his score by 150 points or more. We signed up with Ana and the team for the summer of 2024 and we’re happy to say he took his test and hit the mark. Now we’re much more confident he’ll get accepted to his top choice on the list of schools. Ana and her team were easy to work with, they were flexible and helped our son achieve his goals. I highly recommend Sylvan Learning Oviedo.

The best decision we made was to enroll our daughter at Sylvan! Ana and Jason are absolutely amazing. They are genuinely nice people with good hearts and care about each child. It honestly has a “home” feel that is very inviting and safe. My daughter looked forward to going each time. They have a fun reward system where kids can earn points for prizes each time and that is such a fun way to keep them motivated! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

It is a wonderful and rewarding center. I listed my son for ACT first then to SAT scoring improvement and worked pretty well. My son’s scores improved significantly and after 3 attempts he was able to meet 100% requirements for Bright Future Scholarship. Ana and Jason were so kind, well-organised, working hard, and made an effective plan for my son to get the desired score. I would highly recommend Sylvan Center for Oviedo and surrounding residents.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. I took my daughter here and paid for 2x per week which they “required “. They have them sit in front of a computer the entire time, but when my daughter brought in real ELA homework, the tutor helped and my daughter got them all wrong.

Here’s the kicker, with about a month left for the reading FAST assessment, we changed tutoring companies, which allowed families to get once a week. My daughter PASSED the fast assessment. Something she COULD NOT achieve coming here.

I would recommend families to look around if your child is not making tangible progress. Also know there are more affordable options that work with the parents schedule and not lying saying that you need to go 2x per week to see progress. They say that for the money. My child went once a week, was not placed on a computer, and had tutors who had a bachelor degree or higher at the new place.
While Sylvan tutors at this location are FILLED with college students. I would never recommend!

There were a few days we missed, but was otherwise consistent. I can show bank receipts for that.

We enrolled our daughter to receive help in mastering some math gaps during summer break and to help her change her negative self-concept related to "not being smart in math." Ana & Jason were very thorough and all her assessments coincided with teacher's feedback. My daughter never complains about attending and always leaves Sylvan smiling. She mastered many math concepts with only attending 2xper/wk for 1 hr and I am hopeful that when she starts H.S. in a few yrs that she will pass all math state requirements.
