My son was having a hard time at school after the pandemic. He was a grade level behind and we had tried many ways to help him out at school and at home but nothing was working out for us. We began looking for tutoring classes and we decided on Sylvan, best choice we have ever made. My child’s grades improved instantly. He went from an F to high 80s, gradually going to 90’s to and even 100s. Now all I see on his report cards are good grades. His self esteem just went through the roof. My daughter started here at the end of her first grade school year and has gone through the summer, into her second grade year. She should have failed the first grade due to her poor reading skills. Because of a clerical error with the district, the school pushed her through to second grade. She is now in her second grade year, and she’s receiving top marks for reading! She went from basically failing the first grade, to thriving in the second grade! If it wasn’t for Sylvan, she wouldn’t be where she is now in her reading skills. Not only has she improved in reading, but she is more confident! The tuition is pricey, but they have tuition loans available. I highly recommend Sylvan. I’m so grateful I invested in my child’s education, it’s made a world of difference!

My daughter, 7 yrs old, has been attending lessons at Sylvan for 6 months and went from a kindergarten level ready to second grade. They are great at what they do. My daughter loves going because they make it fun for them. If your child is struggling in school do not hesitate to sign them up.

I contacted Sylvan learning a week ago. The phone call was very pleasant, everything was explained in a way I understood clearly. I didn't feel rushed, my questions and concerns were addressed and answered. I was shocked how fast I received an assessment appointment for my son. I took my son to the assessment appointment, after we left I was surprised when he asked could he go back. My son's first day was today he was excited about learning new things, more importantly he expressed to me how comfortable he was with the staff members. I hope our experience continues to be a pleasant one.

My daughter fell behind during the pandemic and my husband and I made the choice to send our daughter to Sylvan's. I must say this was the best decision we could make in her education. They truly care about their students and want to make a difference. They are nice and professional and glad I came here. UPDATE: ......my daughter and I are over four months in with Sylvan and can’t be more pleased. The The pay schedule is flexible and the positive personality of everyone there is outstanding. We started our 7 yr old son with Sylvan’s in Summerville right before Covid-19 happened. He needed confidence and a lot help with reading. He struggled with doing homework and hated anything that had to do with reading. Since he has been going and receiving a plan tailored to him, he has been flourishing!!
