The tutors and staff were so friendly and kind to my children. They were amazing teachers. Both of my children were very behind in reading even with all my efforts. Sylvan had them up to grade level and feeling confident. We could not be more pleased! My kids enjoyed going there too, which made it so much easier.

Our child has attended Sylvan for over a year and we have had a wonderful experience! Catherine, Dave and the entire staff at the Marana Sylvan are welcoming, accommodating and flexible. Our child began attending sessions to improve reading skills and as she progressed, they added math topics too. They adjusted the frequency of her sessions based on her progress and mastery of skills and helped her gain confidence in her reading ability. Our daughter was always excited to go to her sessions and the entire staff help motivate her and recognize/reward accomplishments and learning milestones. They are invested in helping your child grow and refine skills, it’s evident from day one. I am very grateful to Sylvan and cannot thank them enough for being such a positive influence for our child!

We have had a wonderful experience with the Sylvan Learning center. Their tutors are patient and have the ability to speak and teach to all different learning types. The office staff is very warm and welcoming and accommodates any need with academics. Highly recommend their services to anyone.

I didn't have a good experience at this location. The director Catherine, is very rude and was condescending with me. My daughter however loved her math tutor.

We have found a wonderful at home tutoring for just 10 dollars more. If you have questions don't dare come in and ask at the hour. She yelled me several times and made it very uncomfortable for my child and I. The worst part it was in front of kids and other parents!

Catherine also had the habit of treating her employees poorly in front of the kids. The male manager is much nicer and you can tell enjoys being around the kids.

They also were talking about in the front of the children about finances, in how they needed to shut off the water. So very inappropriate!

Update: WHY can't you take responsibility? I have the emails the charges to my credit card.

Beware people, they dismiss anyone that they can't verify the complaint. That shows how in unprofessional this place is.

We have been attending the Sylvan Center for about 2 months now. The growth my son has gone through in such a short amount of time is really a testament to how amazing the staff at Sylvan is. It was such a struggle at home to get him to read and it always felt like a chore to my son. He is now reading for fun and has built a lot of confidence in his own abilities. The staff is incredibly positive and we couldn't be happier.

The director of this facility, Catherine, is very rude. She was extremely hostile on the phone. I was never given a day to have my son's assessment done. I only told see you Saturday in a text that was auto generated. No date or time. Then, I was accused of being a no-show. After having a conversation with her, I decided this would not be a place I would take my child after how she treated me. I have a photo that shows the text sent to me via the director with no date and time that says, " See you Saturday." they are not even open on Saturdays.

My son has been working with the WONDERFUL staff at the Marana Sylvan location for a year now. During the pandemic with the changing school schedule, my son struggled to keep up his academics and lost his confidence. The tutoring he has received at Sylvan has boosted his confidence and his drive to learn. As a parent, I appreciate their great communication and their willingness to adapt to our schedule changes. However, the best part is my son looks forward to attending Sylvan and seeing the tutors.

I highly recommend Sylvan's Learning, they have been amazing for my son. My son has gone from 1st grade reading to his grade level 3rd in just a few months. His level of growth is astonishing. He enjoys going to his sessions and always has a smile on his face when I pick him up. I am so thankful to Catherine and her team!
