I am so pleased with the services my 10 year old receives with Sylvan. We started our journey with Sylvan 1 year ago. My son was reading at a kindergarten level. He had no confidence in himself and refused to even try to read. Now a year later he's at a beginner grade 2. His confidence has spiked and he's slowly coming around to reading. I have to say the tutors at Sylvan have been so patient, helpful, and very encouraging. I look forward to seeing progress. I highly recommend Sylvan of Twinsburg if you feel your child needs help in any area academicly.

Sylvan Leaning Center in Twinsburg has been a great experience for both my kids! I highly recommend for English, Math, SAT / ACT prep., and a variety of other subjects. In the program from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. He passed his 3rd grade tests with flying colors. At the moment we put our 4th grader back in for math support while we have our kindergartner at the same time. Melinda is awesome and a huge advocate. She will work with the schooland go above and beyond when it comes to conferences. She really tries figure out what your child needs help with!

My twins are in Pre-K and attend Sylvan once a week for Kindergarten readiness. They started in September and we already see a huge improvement in both girls. It is was so worth it. They also look forward to their sessions and cannot wait to ser what they will learn next. Melinda is very helpful witj the admissions process and answers any questiona we may have. All of the instructors are very good with the girls. I highly recommend Sylvan of Twinsburg.

I used Sylvan for all three of my children. It’s absolutely an amazing program. My second daughter was behind in reading. This is how we got started with Sylvan initially. She had low self-esteem in the classroom because she wasn’t reading as well as the other students. We contacted Sylvan and started going Every day in the beginning in less than a month and a half she was up to speed on all her reading. It made her feel so good. She didn’t want to stop. My Other daughter, the oldest said to me, “why do you want her to be smarter than me”? So they both started going. It seemed expensive at first, but for what we got out of it it was worth every penny. Both kids excelled beyond their grade. They had very high self-esteem and felt good about themselves in the classroom. They could help their peers with things that they didn’t understand. they excelled so well that they both wound up doing full-time College Credit Plus. The first daughter we didn’t find out about College Credit Plus until she was going into 10th grade. She qualified to go full-time at Kent State Univ.. The second daughter started full-time at Kent State Univ. in ninth grade. She had her masters before she turned 17. my oldest daughter wound up going onto Ohio State University with a 50% scholarship to finish her last year. We went ahead and sent her for all four years since it was half paid for and she graduated with three majors. My third child deals with ADHD and very high functioning autism. He was going into six grade when Covid hit. At that time he was writing at a first grade level. We are in one of the top 15 school districts in Ohio. They were unable to get him moving past the first grade in writing at the end of fifth grade. He did their online school for 6th grade due to Covid. I decided to use Sylvan’s online tutoring. One hour of math in the morning and afternoon & one hour of reading in the morning and afternoon. He was able to go through Sylvan’s writing program through the ninth grade in that one year with just two hours a day . When he entered seventh grade, he was in gifted English and skipped an entire year of math going into eighth grade math instead of seventh. My third child now in 10th grade is doing all his classes at Akron University getting college credit and high school credit at the same time. So yes, Sylvan is a little bit expensive but it saved me a lot of money on college. It was well worth every penny and it gave my kids. Great self-esteem.
I highly recommend Sylvan to catch up or to get ahead.
