Sylvan of Vacaville has been the best decision we have made for our 12 year old daughter. Ever since Covid, she had suffered a lot of learning loss. I thought the schools would have a plan to bring students up to speed, but they seemed to just go on with business as usual and never addressed the large gap in my daughter’s educational foundation. After two years of seeing that the school was not going to do anything, we took matters into our own hands and got her some help from Sylvan. In just one summer, they were able to bring her up to grade level. Their well thought out plan of giving students small but relevant assignments helped her fill in the gaps left by Covid and she is now excelling instead of struggling. Going forward, we plan to use their homework assistance program to keep her on the right track. I cannot thank Sylvan enough for teaching my daughter in a way that the school never could. I highly recommend Sylvan!

My youngest daughter has been attending Sylvan Learning Center in Vacaville for about 6 weeks now, and we are very impressed with our experience so far! My daughter had a nightmare teacher in the 3rd grade, and since then has had a deep distrust in educators. I informed the staff of this, and everyone has been so good, kind and helpful. It’s only been six weeks, but we are seeing amazing progress in multiple subjects! I even told the center she had a favorite tutor, and they go out of their way to pair her with this educator when they can. We are very happy. ?

Sylvan has been a huge blessing. The staff are amazing, and the director Angela has been so flexible and understanding of our crazy schedule when it comes to session times. My son has progressed hugely in just a little over a year in his reading, which also allowed his math to improve because he could read and understand the word problems. He looks forward to his tutoring sessions and is always smiling when I pick him up. Thank you, Sylvan!

My son’s reading has improved incredibly since attending Sylvan. He’s excited to attend and always tells me he had a great time. We went to improve his phonics, fluency, and writing and I have seen huge improvements in those areas. We are excited to continue attending and see more growth!

I have seen such growth from my son after attending Sylvan for a couple of months. His reading has improved and most importantly he LOVES to go. The teachers are all friendly and Angela keeps parents updated on their child’s progress. Would definitely recommend them.

Sylvan of Vacaville is amazing! The director, Angela, is great! As well as all of the staff. When our daughter started first grade at a new school, she was academically behind and struggling. Sylvan has helped her gain confidence and she has progressed so much. She absolutely loves going to tutoring and loves that she is rewarded when she does good. Sylvan also helped our son some years back. They are the best decision for any child that is struggling academically.
