We’ve been with Sylvan Westlake for about 8 weeks, and the results have exceeded our expectations. From the initial assessment, which gave us valuable insight into our child’s strengths and weaknesses, to the personalized plan crafted by the wonderful Director, Joy, we’ve seen incredible growth. Our child's writing has improved both in skill and confidence, which has brought our child balance and happiness. The staff and teachers are fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier with the progress. We highly recommend Sylvan to any parent looking to boost their child’s academic success!

I cannot recommend Sylvan enough! My 2nd grader has been there since mid-1st grade, including the summer session. His confidence has skyrocketed and he's absolutely thriving at school. He's even received 3 A's in a row on his last few math tests. We are thrilled - and so is he!

They truly take your child's success to heart and their unique perspective has helped me better understand where my child has room for improvement. Their communication with parents is wonderful and they are always available to discuss your child's progress. The director, Miss Joy, is a passionate educator and a true partner for the parents of the students attending.

We had such a positive experience with this Sylvan center, run by Joy. All of the teachers are welcoming and ready to help the students. My child began in the summer as a way to keep up with what he learned during the year. Now has confidence and an eagerness to learn. He has progressed through the program and is able to focus better. I believe by the end of summer, he will be ready for the new school year. Overall, we recommend this program and this center in particular.

Sylvan is a great learning center that truly does personalize each student's learning plan. As a tutor here the most rewarding part of the job has been seeing each student's ability to progress in their understanding of concepts and feel more confident in their academic abilities. I have visited my sister Joy, the center director at the Westlake Sylvan several times over the past years while she was at work. Every time I entered the building I was always greeted with a friendly smile and made to feel very welcome. I felt the family friendly atmosphere and observed total engagement of the students with their teachers. This actually inspired me to have my daughter look into enrolling her daughter for virtual tutoring there. She has since enrolled and has enjoyed the benefits of her sessions. Since the beginning of her sessions, she has gained more confidence and her grades have improved.
