You may ask why this is a one star. The reason is the management at attention to service. We walked in before the rush hour, sat down and waited for 10 minutes for someone to take our order. When we finally were taken care, we were told that perhaps the three most popular plates were not available. We had to scramble to select other options, which were not to the taste of our group. The items not available were chicken wing, hamburger and another plate I cannot remember at the moment. So imagine a Friday night and a restaurant does not have chicken wings and hamburgers, the classic dishes in any bar. Ridiculous! But the reason I am giving this place a one star is the condescending, gaslighting and disrespectful manager/hostess. When I approached her out of sight of others to say that should not happen, she was completely dismissive. I did not want anything as I already had paid and left a 20% gratuity on a good that was overpriced (and I understand we are in Tahoe but if that is the price the food and service should be at the level that the place set the bar). The Phillis cheeses take was under-seasoned, by the buns were good. Will say that service by our waiter was superb and he did the best he could. As much as I hate doing this, this is not a location I would support.

Ate outside and it was amazing to sit on the deck and look at the lake while we ate our food. Service was pretty good and food was pretty alright. We both got cheese steak sandwiches with tots. It was 18 for a cheesesteak but I didn’t feel cheated. Overall a good experience, you have to go around the back of Safeway grocery store to find it. Little bit hidden, but worth the search.

I can’t say enough about our experience here! The owner made us feel very welcomed and bartender gave outstanding service. Everyone is friendly. The hazy beer was my favorite and so was the Roman soup! Went back twice while we were in Lake Tahoe for a few days! Wishing them the very best!

I’ve been to Tahoe City plenty of times, but was so happy to stumble upon this place this trip. The ambiance is perfect, the food, impeccable. Loved everything about it.

If you want a true beer tasting experience, this is one of the only few places in Tahoe that you can really get that. They brew everything in the house and they offer flights which a lot of other breweries in the area and restaurants do not.

They have a wide variety of beers to choose from and the facilities and people there are really nice and accommodating. I took my family here for my summer vacation to get to enjoy some refreshing selections of beer and we had a great time. It’s pretty low-key and it’s a little bit hidden off the beaten path but great time we had.

Tucked in behind the safeway so it's a little bit hidden. Not a lot of parking behind but more around the side. Nice view of the lake. Enjoyed one of their ambers and a pilly cheese steak which was very good and not covered in green peppers. Not too busy on the day we visited.

Besides having a great atmosphere and great service, the food was far from good. The Philly sandwich was all fat, my husband’s sandwich Tahoe National Burger tasted and looked ground beef and the best part: the kids grilled cheese was extremely oily, which my child wasn’t able to touch and The tots were huge. Definitely not for a child. Also, the food is too pricey for what they offer. The beer was the only good part. So feed yourself before going there for a drink.

Definitely worth stopping by. Ordered the Chicago deep dish pizza for lunch and it was amazing. Came back for dinner another night and ordered the Souvlaki Plate. I was blown away by this meal and will definitely be back. Tried a few beers aswell and you can't go wrong with any of them.
