Staff was very helpful while finding things for my fresh start at UCSB. They did not always know where everything was, but they did not hesitate to point me in the best direction they knew. Dorian, in particular, helped me save $30 at checkout by signing up for a student discount. While the process on the app was frustrating and took far longer than it should have, I’m grateful to him for his patience, guidance, and support in letting me know about the money-saving opportunity and holding my cart until I could get verified and obtain the discount. Great job, Dorian!

Absolutely not one person we asked for help knew where anything in the store was located. I was looking for hair detangler for my daughter. I was sent to the baby area from the lady working in the cosmetic section only to find it exactly two aisles over from where I originally asked her. The store was organized but a lot of the shelves had missing product. Also the bathrooms needed some serious cleaning. Almost every toilet except one had diarrhea all over it. One word to explain my experience here.... YIKES.

Always empty shelves. I can normally only find half the things on my list because things are so often out of stock. Food quality and selection is poor. I used to shop at Target weekly when I lived out of the area, but try to avoid this one if I can and do most of my shopping elsewhere.

I apologize if I can't give five stars, I just have to give stars based on my collective memory of other stores that I've seen. This Target is five stars compared to the one in downtown. It has way more variety than that such as home improvement options, clothes, a bit of bedding, etc. But, still compared to the Target stores that I have seen in other towns, and even on roads, this one is mediocre. I don't know why it appears that the chain stores in Santa Barbara are shabby... They may improve in future in which case I may change my review, but as of now, they are 3.5 stars at the best...

Went shopping with my daughter and she used her debit card to purchase. The cashier said it didn’t go through and made her tap it again. She was charged double and I went in to speak with the manager to have them fix it and they wouldn’t. Showed them the bank statement with the double charges they did and they still wouldn’t refund it said go to my bank. My bank said it’s their fault and they charged me and I have to get the refund from them. Now I have a big headache and filing a fraud claim against them with my bank since they can’t fix their mistake. They need to train their cashiers and supervisors and managers better on handling double charges better!!! I didn’t do this neither did my teen daughter now she is out money she didn’t spend and it’s not our fault and no one will fix a mistake we can’t fix or didn’t do!! Be careful using your debit cards…..

Terrible service, half the workers don’t know what they are even doing. Had to wait in line for 25 minutes just to buy 2 things. Go to any other grocery store or market this place is terrible

i feel like half this targets shelves are empty all the time. like i’ll go for something and they won’t have it, they’ll say “come back tomorrow” i give it a couple days, even a week, the shelf will still be barren even though in the app it says in stock. target is always gonna be target but this just puts my off
